I'm looking for other experiences, hopefully some input from a nanny or CCP.

DS has been in a home care (unlicensed) for the last year. He is now 15 months old, his needs have changed.
I know the family for quite some years, she is incredibly qualified (Preschool teacher for years now retired, open to new ideas). We have been paying her a bit more than licensed CCP would charge in the area. I don't think she pays tax, so this is not a tax deduction for us since there is no tax payer ID number.
I pack his lunch, breakfast and snacks every day, we drop off the stroller. When he was younger she asked for boppy pillow, infant carrier a.s.o. I am also asked to write a little report on when he napped, bm's and anything else. (Sometimes I feel like I'm in school.) Actually, to be fair, I kind off started it when he was 3 months old just for eventualities and communication, not a daily thing, since DH drops him off in am. It became expected of me. I supply cloth diapers, wipes and bleach wipes to disinfect his toys. I also supply his changing mat, high chair.
I am very strong on fresh air, the weather is great now. Her reply was she has other things she needs to do so they don't make it to the park till' late afternoon when the sun is going down. WTH? Her back yard is not a play area. So he only get's out 1 hour a day. Her 3 year old grandson is there the days my son is there. I also asked to start potty training. We wound up in an argument that her claiming he is too young, when her Grandson is there she didn't have time. It just started creeping up lately.
Licensed CCP include meals, diapers, wipes. All I have to pack are clothes.
I do feel my son is dearly loved, it's close to home. I feel comfortable leaving him there, she is very dependable.
I have another addition to the family coming within the next week, so there will be 2 infants.

I understand the daily rate isn't that great, still it's pay in the comfort of your home. It would be nice to open up a pre-tax care account for child care to save some money, yet ,that's not possible. I also understand quality child care is important, but at what price? Can I keep up with packing half my kids belongings for 2 kids? Packing it in and out of the car, stressing over the fact I might have forgotten something and I will hear about it later? I do appreciate her.

I know there will always be little quirks here and there, that's why I need some other perspectives. Maybe I should choose my quirks wisely. Maybe I'm out of line and expect too much. Help me out.
