Updated to remove the link to the pic - thanks for all your votes! I ordered the announcements yesterday!

My announcements are ready to be printed and they're ADORABLE...they say "introduces her little angel." But my boss was appalled that I would even consider sending out a picture of my baby naked. Is it really that bad? I didn't even think of it as bad at all, it's such an adorable picture!

To change the announcements now would be $20 per proof, which isn't the end of the world if it seems this picture would offend people. But before I printed them I thought I'd get your opinion.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I've seen a number birth announcements with that kind of pic and never thought anything about it.

That's a great photo! Not like she's spread eagle or something. Some people are weird. Babies are not sexual.

Naked babies are adorable- this one especially so

This isn't the kind of picture she'd be embarrassed of as an adult, there is no nudity or frontal exposure or any kind. I wouldn't worry about it at all, I think it'll be a perfect announcement photo!

Geez, yeah, that pic is adorable!! One day she'll probably wear low rider jeans that show more crack than that.

Of course you can!

Utterly adorable pic!

Wonderful photo. My announcement had DS naked too. I think yours is perfectly acceptable.

That is adorable. There is nothing wrong with a birth announcement with a naked baby bottom showing; I've seen several announcements like that! And it's a great picture!

I think it is fine. Is your boss a conservative 60 year old man?

That photo is absolutely precious, and I see no reason not to send it.

It's no more "nudity" than all the baby photo posters, cards, signs, calendars, etc., by Anne Geddes-and that stuff is everywhere.

Of course!!! That picture is adorable! Congratulations on your new baby!

Aww! Here's yet another vote saying it's adorable! Honestly, when I saw the title of the thread, I was expecting the photo to include YOU, topless. I was really surprised when I saw the photo & genuinely confused as to what the problem with that beautiful pic could possibly be!

Congrats!!!

Yeah Meg, I thought it might be a birthing pic or something!

But your boss has it all wrong--that picture you chose is gorgeous and perfectly wonderful for an announcement

He's 59.

Okay YAY! As of right now it's 30 to 1. I really didn't want to have to re-design the announcements; they look so darned good.

And thanks for checking out my girl, who I of course think is the cutest girl who ever lived.

Awwww! What a cute baby!!

I thought maybe you were talking about full-frontal nudity (which I have no issues with, know how others can be). But an itty-bitty bit o' baby buns? TOO CUTE!!

Very cute pic! I wouldn't have a problem at all with the "nudity" if you can even call it that in a baby.

However, I do have to say that the angel wings threw me for a second. I'm trying to figure out a way to say this delicately. I guess I would just consider what most people mean when they speak about their angel babies.

Precious! Absolutely I would use it. There's nothing cuter than a tiny baby tushie.
