I just got a call from my brother in London that my SIL has been in pre-labor for about 14 hours. She is really committed to having a successful homebirth but has a family history full of horror stories. Please take a moment to send her some positive energy while she's in labor today! Her name is Pamela and she lives in southwest London.

Well, I haven't gotten a full update but apparently my SIL has moved to a hospital after 30 hours of labor. I guess things just weren't progressing. I know she was in good hands as her doula is a good friend of Dr. Michel Odent and he came with her for the initial check-up.
