3-year old with chronically watery eyes, no redness or other symptoms...

Maybe chronic isn't the right word. This happened for a few days a couple of weeks ago, just watery, tears down her face, some white gunk, and crusty when she woke up. No redness or any other symptoms. No cold. No known allergies. It went away, and then has been happening again the past few days.

Could this be a plugged duct? Everything says that happens in infants.

We have had a new dog for a few months now, but I don't think it is that, since we have always had a cat and been around animals...

Thoughts?

Amila, did you learn anything about this. I am actually having the same problem myself!!! Wondered if it was just another weird pregnancy thing, but I'm not seeing that many women share the problem with me. I'm considering making an appointment with the eye doctor, but my intuition says they won't be very helpful.
