Anyone a Lionbridge Internet Assessor? - Page 6

When I first applied, they sent me an email with a user ID and password. This was as soon as my application was received. long before I got word that I was eligible to take the test. Check and see if you have an old email from them with the login info.

Thanks! I checked to see if I have another email, but no I don't. However, I did receive an email from Lionbridge saying "we haven't heard from you, let us know if you did not receive the materials." I emailed them--we'll see what happens.

I just got my agreement thing yesterday. I had to search in my email, but the first welcome/thanks for applying email they ever sent me had a user name and password in it, and that worked to allow me to log in and accept the terms.

I guess the next step is to take the test? I hope they send it soon, I am eager to get started!

EDIT: So as soon as I posted that, I checked my email and I had a message that said I would receive all of my online assessment materials by Saturday! Yay! I'm nervous, I hope I pass it.

I received an email this afternoon with instructions on retrieving a user ID and password. Hopefully this will work!

I had the exact same thing happen. Also got an email that said I had a 1 star rating, then another email that said it was sent in error.
Like you savannah_smiles, I am refreshing and doing tutorials... but also hoping it was some sort of computer error.
I wasn't able to make the webinar today. Was it helpful? I did the SxS one a while back and that did help.... although it didn't make that task any more interesting for me.

Yesterday's webinar was helpful; it helped clear up some grey area issues that come up w/ rating.

I don't remember how many hours, but I just did a certain number of tasks a day. Each day they seemed easier and I could go through them faster and with more confidence.

I just got word that I passed the practical exam, so soon I'll get to find out how I like doing the work for real. The practical exam was actually a little fun. I didn't keep track of how long it took me to do it, but I think their figure for how long the whole thing takes most people was in the ballpark for me.

yea!

I love that so many MDC mamas are working with lionbridge, too. It makes the work at home loneliness no so bad, because I picture y'all rating along with me. Maybe we are rating the same tasks

This is only my second full week doing this work, and I devote about 30 minutes a day to doing quizzes, reading the guidelines, and reviewing stuff. I don't know how long I will continue doing that, but it seems to be time well invested.

Tips for getting higher ratings

Hi Ladies,
For anyone that does not know, there is a website workplacelikehome.com
that has a subfolder for lionbridge. There is some great advice on their on how to keep your quality rating high. I haven't received my first stars yet, but I have found it to be good advice.
