Firstly: we're not talking about Jesus' miracles, but Genesis 1 and 2. I have yet to see any compelling evidence that the stories contradict each other. Secondly: I'm not interested in defending any view of inerrancy other than my own, which the Chicago Statement sums up quite nicely: it interacts with the point you've made about ANE definitions of truth, as well as giving some perspective to the "contradictory Genesis accounts" argument. Thirdly: I don't agree that "nobody knows" what really happened, because I believe God was (to say the least) an eyewitness to those events and ensured they were reported for the purposes of communicating with humanity.
