Who's getting ready for LOST?!!?!

Ahhh! I was SOOO hoping they'd start it in January and when I saw February they might as well have punched me in the stomach. I was able to put off re-watching all the previous seasons until a few days ago, so now I'm halfway done with Season 1...I can't believe how much more I'm picking up now that we saw the last episode of the last season.

I wasn't a Lost fan until last spring when I caught up with the current season by watching all 4 previous ones in a matter of 2 weeks.

I can't wait.

I really need to go catch up on last season since they totally blew me away with the final episode. Confuses me to even think about what went on.

I can't read this thread after today, but we just started season 2 and we are DYING to know what happens. We're watching on on demand, so we've got 5 seasons of 25 episodes each to watch....we don't have that kind of time!! I can't wait to be current and see what happened/happens!

Me!!! Super excited for the final season. I am dying to know how everything will play out. This hiatus has been killing me! Way to long for a show like Lost.

I did a rewatch of seasons 1-4 over the summer and have recently been watching season 5 again thru Netflix.

I can't wait either! Maybe I should do a re-watch too - I wonder if I have time?

we are eagerly awaiting season 6!!! i've already done a couple of complete rewatches during the hiatus!!!

I've never seen it.

Would I have to watch past seasons or could I just start with this new one?

This is definitely one of those shows where you need to start from the beginning. All of the episodes (seasons 1-5) are on hulu.

I also can't wait for it to start. But I am just now starting season 5 cuz I didn't have any way to watch it last year. I'd love to do a recap cuz I've not done one yet. Since I only watch it through the internet I guess I have time, but I don't know if I will, the urge to watch the final season as it comes out might be too tempting. But I can't wait to see how it all ends and how everything is explained!

Ooh, like what?! I'd love to have time to re-watch, but I think I would get too annoyed. But I don't want to miss things...I'd love to hear what YOU've picked up!

Oh boy, now it's hard to remember. LOL Mostly a ton of the references to light/dark and black/white (like for one, I never saw the black and white stones they found in the back on "Adam and Eve" before)...and now having seen the last episode of last season and the Lost "experts" using a lot of the light/dark and black/white things to refer to Jacob and that other guy (did he have a name? Did it start with an "E" or something?) I'm trying to put it all together.

Does anyone know the link for that website with all the great theories on Lost? I haven't been able to find it since I started re-watching, but I'd love to re-read it now.

Some people call him Esau (as in Jacob & Esau, twin brothers in the Old Testament). Others call him the man in black.

I love The Fuselage Forum (General Theories) for cool ideas on Lost.

Okay so I'm finally getting back to re-watching episodes. I just caught something that I wondered about...on season 2 episode 16 where Sun takes the pregnancy tests, it shows the box she's holding and it says "Widmore Labs Pregnancy Test". I don't remember if this was touched on back in the big Lost thread...but we all know the deal with Widmore. I'm assuming that with the curious fertility situations on the island, there is some significance to the pregnancy test being from Widmore labs? (but why would someone on the plane have had one from there?)

I'm also re-watching, but I'm only halfway through Season 1. I gotta get a move on!

As to the question about the pregnancy test, didn't that come from The Others, or one of the Stations? My memory's not that great.... I do remember seeing that the first time around though, the name on the pregnancy test. But I don't remember how it came to be in the survivors possession.

I'm enjoying watching the old episodes again though. The very first shot of Sawyer made me It was so different from the person he became much later in the show. And it's interesting to see all the characters that are no longer with the show as well. And now all those strange appearances in the lives of the characters as children from who we now know to be Jacob....

Hmm, I don't know. I probably missed it if it did. She got it from Sawyer who has all the medical supplies stashed, and I thought that anything they found in the hatch (which is as far as they've gotten so far) was still in the hatch, or did Sawyer snatch all that up too?
I wouldn't be surprised if that was Sawyer "securing" items in the hatch the same way he did when the crash happened. Maybe someone else with a better memory will know. Maybe they don't even show how Sawyer got it and just leave it for viewers to assume or guess.

True! It's going to drive me nuts. LOL

But then again, if there were "Widmore" labeled items in the hatch, wouldn't Desmond have been a little suspicious?
Oh, another way they could have ended up in Sawyers possession...

Remember when "Ethan" first showed up in Season 1? He first appeared with Jack at the caves and came with a couple of suitcases that were just dropped with Hurley. I'm not sure, but I think it was put as suitcases he had just found. Maybe they were found, but maybe they weren't?

I'll keep this in mind as I continue my way back to Season 5.

eta: You're probably right though, if they were in the hatch that would have been something Desmond would have noticed.
