Does anyone here have any experience using hazelnut skins to make dye for yarn? I blanched some hazelnuts about a month ago, and the skins turned the soup bowl I used to hold them a nice shade of rosy pink. It seems it should be possible to apply this to yarn somehow, but I have googled it and found nothing. And I just can't face the boards over at Ravelry - too huge and I just haven't gotten comfy with navigating them.
