When will the worries stop?

I know this might sound silly especially coz I recently posted about my baby having the hiccups all the tiime up to 5 times a day, but now I'm wondering if something's wrong coz she stopped getting them.

I'm used to feel her hiccuping several times a day, each day for weeks and today nothing at all.Yesterday she had them only once.
I do hate hiccups, but I have no idea that they could stop all the sudden like this.

I'm 33 weeks 5 days.
Any thoughts?
Thanks and Happy New Year everybody

When they have graduated from college??? And maybe not even then.

Seriously though - I have found that I always have some new worry at each stage of development with my children, starting when I am pregnant with them. With my older son, I was worried about the findings on his 20 week u/s (everything turned out to be just fine.) Now that he is in his teen years, I worry about drugs, alcohol, girls, and if he will survive junior high/high school with his self-worth and integrity intact.

I have to admit the worries are a bit harder to deal with when I am pregnant though because I can't see/touch/hear the baby so I worry more. I just have to trust God/Life/The Universe that everything is going as it should and try to remember there is a broad spectrum of "normal" for this experience. If you can, try to relax and enjoy the quiet time with the babe. As long as you are getting some good movement on a daily basis, I think there is no reason to worry about the hiccup issue.

Do you have some ways to help you relax? Mediation, hypnobabies, relaxing cds? Even talking to your care provider? A friend?

My first son I didn't worry about much of anything after 12 weeks. Then I lost my second son at 22 weeks gestation. Now, this pregnancy, I worry and think about everything. Right now, I'm worried about cord accidents because of my extended bedrest and all the flipping she's doing. I have been worried about something, at times very unnecessarily, most of the time. My care provider is understanding and I try to take a lot of time to distract myself and do a lot of breathing.

Edit - I agree with SSH, lol. If I'm not worrying about the pregnancy, I'm worrying about my son!!!

hehe thanks for the replay I guess this is just the beginning when it comes to me worrying about my baby :P
However,I found it strange that she stopped hiccuping all the sudden like this.
She's moving as she was before,so I guess I'm just being a worry wart -again.

Being a worry wart is a good thing sometimes, especially when it comes to parenting. I would much rather be a parent who was concerned than one like my SIL who really could not care less about her kids (can someone call CPS already????)

I think one of the real feats of motherhood is trying to balance between worrying enough but not so much that I turn into a helicopter parent. Seventeen years after becoming a mother for the first time, I am still working on this one...

Worrying is a natural part of parenting. You need to figure out ways that work for you to manage the anxiety. For me, it helps to remind myself: "worrying is a natural part of parenting!"

Yep. I still check both my children when they're sleeping to make sure they're breathing. I figure I'll stop worrying about them when I'm six feet under.
