We just bought frontloaders because we have no washer/dryer, and they're energy star and use way less water and energy than the top loaders.
I want to know what the best detergent is to use, preferably non-petroleum based, to use with my new he machine. I know soap scum build up in these machines can lead to mildew and funk, so I'd like to avoid that.
So for those of you who use frontloaders, what natural detergents do you use? Do you use liquid fabric softeners or stick w dryer sheets, or do something altogether different?
These were on a great sale, but still not so cheap, so I want to make sure I take really good care of them so they'll last!
TIA!
