Postpartum pout: My fat jeans don't fit

I mean, I didn't expect my regular clothes to fit for a while, but how do my two pair of FAT jeans, that I keep for when I'm getting bigger than I'd like to be, not fit?????

I'm going to blame it on having a baby the week of Thanksgiving. Also, I tried to eat a lot better while I was pregnant, so I've been eating everything I see the last few weeks.

I had my 6-week checkup yesterday and I'm cleared to workout again. Looks like I have two more days of indulgence, but then something's got to give!

ETA: I'm 5'6" and 193; I hope I didn't offend anyone by the term "fat jeans" - they're just a size bigger than my normally larger sized clothes.

You aren't the only one!! I lost all my pregnancy weight plus 4lbs and I STILL cannot fit my clothes!!! The fat has all redistributed to my stomach ... it's soo gross!

My new motto in regards to working out: If it doesn't hurt, I'm doing something wrong! Burn baby Burn!

Ugh. I am so freaking absolutely with you on this. I'm horrified at my postpartum body. When I look in the mirror, I shudder :

I finally went to try to buy some new clothes, since ONE pair of pre-pregnancy jeans fit me (and they were the "fat" jeans I never, ever wore before I was pregnant). The shopping trip was not a fun experience by any stretch of the imagination.

I want so badly to lose weight, but since I am battling low milk supply, I'm afraid to do the things I know would help me lose weight. And nursing makes me ravishingly hungry. Every time I nurse, I want a snack. And while I could hypothetically reach for some nice, nutritious snack, I end up grabbing left over treats from the holidays. And honestly, I nurse 5,000 times a day* -- I don't care how nutritious the snack is, eating that much does not lend itself to weight loss.

*slight exaggeration.

I'm the heavisest I have ever been in my life. Someone please tell me losing weight is possible.

This is one of the only two times I've ever lost weight in my entire life (I have PCOS), so I'm trying to keep it going!!! Everyone keeps telling me though that when they lost 10 even 20lbs from their pre pregnancy weight that their bodies never looked the same!!! That's a very scary thought!

Let's stick together and shed some pounds!! Some how, some way!!! I'm up for suggestions!

Vegas I weigh the exact same as you! I also am the same height! weird huh?! everyone thinks I weigh what I did before I had Glenn but I don't I need to lose about 10 pounds then I will be where I was before I had him but at the time I got pregnant I was starting to lose weight. We are going to get the Wii Fit thing I guess it is supposed to be really good for loseing weight but we will see!

Well Kate hates the cold, and it's pretty cold here right now, so I've decided that as soon as we get our routine down, we're going to start mall walking after work. I never, ever thought I'd be a mall walker. I don't even like to shop! But it seems like the best option. We can start running in the jogging stroller in June, but until then, mall walks it is!

I just really wish I had something to wear.

And SSS that is weird. I have 11 lbs left to lose. But I wasn't super happy with myself then either. Maybe this will be the kick in the pants I need to get back down to my hottie weight.

I freaked one day a few weeks ago (thanks to emotional trauma from ex-DP) and got on this 'must lose weight NOW' trip and started hitting my treadmill 45 minutes a day, every day and about the 3rd day my milk all but disappeared. It scared me so I quit until I got my supply up a bit, now I only manage the treadmill a few times a week and still my supply is not great.

Since I'm nervous about stepping up my time spent on my treadmill yet still miserable with my weight, I decided that I was a little too comfortable in my Secret Fit maternity jeans and sweats, which is all I've been wearing day in and day out. Busted out this compression/girdle-type thing I wore under my bridesmaid's gown for my sister's wedding a few years ago and squeezed my bloated self into it. Kind of like belly binding, but from my knees to my ribs, lol. I wear this god-awful garment every day now. It does make my incision feel loads better anytime I have to cough or sneeze, and the constant tightness also makes me reconsider anything I feel compelled to eat when I'm really not hungry. I also managed to squeeze on a couple pairs of pre-preg jeans, so I force myself to wear those around the house as a constant reminder as well.

In these moments I am glad to be single, between wearing a girdle and having big muffin tops, I am not a pretty sight, but I am horrified that if I don't lose this weight soon I'll end up keeping it. I've been unable to lose weight no matter how hard I try since 2003, so having EXTRA weight to battle really freaks me out.

remember, mamas: nine up, nine down! took us nine months to gain the weight, might take nine (or more) to lose!!!!!

and, please, let's congratulate ourselves!!!! we created life in these flabby bodies! it doesn't get any more amazing than that!!!!!!! love the baby, love the flab!

Dh and I have the same inseam, so I've been wearing his jeans, but they're falling off me around the waist even with a belt, but my own jeans I can't even pull up. Sigh.

I have one pair of my fattest jeans that fit. My regular fat ones can't be buttoned yet. I live in sweats! I can't dream of getting in my "skinny" ones.

This was my 3rd. The weight literally fell off with the first. All but 3 or 4 did with the second, but that was gone in a few months. I gained just a few lbs above what I did with them, but still have 15lb to loss. I have lost 1 lb since she was 1 week old. That was just this week, so maybe the weight loss is starting to kick in.

On the possitive side, I am very happy with my abs, they tightened up quicker than with the others, that I recall. Now if I can get that layer of fat off them....

My little piglet is over 14lbs now (7.5 weeks, started at 9lb10oz) I should at least be lossing what she is gaining with bfing, lol.
