I need DHA

I ran out of the DHA I was taking a few weeks ago and in the holiday chaos just never got more Now I'm almost out of prenatals as well, so I'm going to Whole Foods tonight. I'm going to get the small bottle of New Chapter and see how that works for me before committing to the huge one, but haven't made a decision about DHA fish oil etc.

New Chapter has a WholeMega supplement, but I think I read somewhere that one wasn't recommended for some reason. I've read a lot about cod liver oil. Just 5 minutes ago I meant to write down the brand because my brain doesn't work anymore, but I didn't and now I forgot. Something Naturals? It's flavored. Anyway, any recommendations for the omegas/dhas/fish oil type supplements? I'd like something natural and am not vegan.

I use Country Life's Omega Mom prenatal EFA supplement. I really like them and got them at Whole Foods.

I think Krill oil is supposed to be the best, it's pricey but it's what I take for my oils. It doesn't have toxicity because krill is so little, I think. It seems to be cheaper to order it from Mercola.com than you can find it in the store and he also has a really good probiotic. I also take New Chapter.

I like Ocean's Mama. It has omega 3, Dha and ara.

Also the Raw Prenatal I think is one of the best out there (although I DO think it needs a Cal/Mag supplement cause that is an area it seems weak in).

I like the salmon oil from Puritan's Pride (hey! I see they have an ad on this page, how weird!) The price is right, and they often have sales--like buy one get one free.

I am vegan and take NuTru's DHA, but you could look at Vitamin Code's prenatal (for a prenatal) as well as their DHA (I don't think it's vegan). I used to take New Chapter prenatal but switched to Vitamin Code recently.

I like Nordic Naturals. They are a little pricey but no fish burps and ultra purified.
