I'm trying to find a brand to use for cloth diapers, please help me decide! I want some that are one size fits all.
Thanks!

Well, the bumGenius 3.0 is a great diaper. A one size, all in one diaper. Meets all your needs.

Other thoughts would be the Happy Heiny's one size or the Fuzzi Bunz one size. There is also the Rocky Mountain one size. These all need to be stuffed so while they are one size there are two steps to use. However, that can be a good thing as you can adjust the absorbency for different times (less by day, more by night).

My all time favorite one size dipe is BabyKicks Organic Fitted. It REALLY fits a newborn (I've been using it on DS#2 since he was born), all the stages in between, PLUS it is also a trainer. Fits like a glove, no leaks, and all natural. There are some reviews out there on the mommy blogs. It's great

If you have a retailer close by, it's nice to see them for yourself. I went to BumGenius, FuzziBunz and Bummis sites to find store retailers. Those brands seem to be the most widely distributed.

Buy 1 or 2 of each and resell on diaperswappers. Or buy very good/new on diaperswappers.

I tried Tiny Tush, BumGenius, Rumparooz, Haute Pocket One size. Liked Rumparooz and BumGenius. My friend had Happy Heiny and the cut was all wrong for my DD. Not sure why.

If you buy from nicki's diapers or momsmilkboutique-- shipping is free.

what do you guys think of prefolds? they seem to be the cheapest, but i'm just not sure what ones to choose from. thanks!

As far as one-size pockets go, I've had the best luck with Tiny Tush. Very durable and fit well.

The issue with many one-size diapers in my opinion is that they don't fit a newborn that well, and sometimes don't fit a bigger toddler, so some people end up needing 3 sizes anyway. A nice option, then, might be Thirsties new Duo Diapers. I like the covers, and just got my diapers in, and will be trying them in the next couple days. The size 1 goes nb to 18 lbs (more like 16 lbs for us) and size 2 goes 18 lbs (15 for us) to 40 lbs.

The truth is I loooooove prefolds for the nb stage. They are so easy, low maintenance. You can fold to fit however you need and they keep messes in really well. Now that my nb is 4.5 mo and very wiggly, I now prefer fitteds or pocket diapers. In an ideal world, I would use nb, then infant prefolds for my babe, then when they outgrow the infant pfs (15 lbs for us), switch to fitteds or pockets.

hth!

I love prefolds, and use unbleached Indian and Chinese prefolds with a snappi and Thirsties covers. I didn't have very good luck with AIOs. All of the ones I tried leaked and took forever to dry. Prefolds are really handy for burp rags and cleaning too, so if you don't end up liking them you can always use them for other things.

We use a variety of onesize diapers personally. I like the Mommy's Touch AIO onesize alot.
