So, I've had migraines since I was a kid. Miraculously, I didn't have one after the first trimester with my twins, but after birth I think the dramatic swing in hormones triggered a few nasty ones.

So I take imitrex, which is totally safe, and I'm comfortable with since it means I can parent my babes like I need to. But I finally put together a nasty side effect it gives me.

Excruciating nipple pain. At first, it was so early, I just attributed it to the post partum learning to nurse stage, etc. But I just had another a week or so ago, and it was like needles every time one of them would latch, or when I tried to pump. I guess I should have expected it, since I get a strange "pins & needles" tingly feeling on my scalp and in my throat after I take it, but YEOWCH.

At least it didn't end up being thrush like I was afraid of!
