Upset stomach....all the time

Is this one of those symptoms of pregnancy that no one told me about?

I was doing fine until the third trimester. Now my stomach is upset all the time. After a meal, before a meal, sitting down, standing up. And by upset stomach I mean (sorry for TMI) the runs. My diet hasn't changed.

Anyone else?

How far along are you, and when did it start? Is it possible your body is cleaning itself out in preparation for labor? It also could just be the lack of space, and your body is compensating. Don't take any meds for it, but you can try eating bananas, cut back on anything spicy, or high in fiber. Do you eat meat, dairy, glucose? Is it possible you've developed an intolerance with the pregnancy? I never ate a lot of red meet before I became pregnant but craved it like crazy while pg. Which was natures cruel little joke, because it ALWAYS made me sick. I'd maybe try cutting those things out one at a time and see if that helps. Our bodies change a lot during pregnancy, and something that was tolerable beforehand can become off limits while pregnant. Talk to your doc if your worried, or think it could be something more serious. Do you feel ok otherwise? GL.

I wasn't in the third trimester, but I went through a three week period of 100% loose stools/diarrhea starting at 21 weeks. I'm now at 27 weeks and everything's slowing down again a lot like the first trimester. What I'd like to say is, hey, I'd rather have the runs than not be able to eliminate at all! I know it's not fun though.. I just think there's a silver lining..

Still, it's probably worth seeing a doctor to have your stool sampled just to make sure there's not a genuine problem. I had mine sampled and there was nothing. So I know that it can happen for no known reason for 3 weeks. I will admit that I was really anxious during that time, so it could have been a temporary version of irritable bowel syndrome. Anything is possible in pregnancy!

I am 34 weeks and am nauseous all the time! I am throwing up daily and I have the runs as well. It gets worse in the evening or when I am overtired, so I have just been trying to slow down and not do as much.
