DH and I bought each other a Cuisinart ice-cream maker for Christmas and I love it! So far I've made a not-very-successful lemon sorbet (way too sweet, as we used lemonades instead of lemons), a moderately successful frozen Coke, a yummy vanilla ice cream from the book that came with the appliance, a delicious maple butterscotch ice cream I invented, and a strawberry sorbet from the book that's still "ripening" in the freezer, but tasted great scraped out of the bowl!
So, anyone have any really good recipes for sorbet, frozen yoghurt or ice cream? Bear in mind I live in NZ and can't get certain American items (marshmallow creme, cool whip, various brands of chocolate bars etc). I'd really like to find a nice mango sorbet recipe, and perhaps a chocolate ice cream recipe - I'm not into chocolate ice cream myself, but DH loves it in any form.
