I used to be reasonable in my testing... once a day starting at around 10dpo. Then I discovered Dollar Store tests and realized that $2 per day isn't that much, so I verrrry guiltily started testing twice a day.

Once the ultra-cheap Internet tests came to my attention, I threw all caution to the wind and began testing almost every time I went to the potty. Granted, I had a lot of negative tests before they turned positive, but it was still fun to test each time.

Rochelle, I am so amused that you conceived your first child after some wine and Desperate Housewives!

New episode this Sunday, although I can't say I recommend it to the emotionally vulnerable right now. Weeks ago I read the spoilers and sobbed... which alerted me that I might be pregnant.

Oh, good luck ladies!! Sounds very promising for many of you!!

I must say that this is the worst AF I've ever had. I soaked 2 Overnight pads at the same time (for extra coverage) overnight, plus more leaked out. Luckily I laid a big plastic bag & towels on the bed to protect the mattress. I've never bled so much before, even after giving birth. I better get pregnant this cycle, because I do not want to go through this again!

RE: testing--I got a BFP a few days ago, and you'd better believe I am STILL testing like I'd never seen two lines before. And NO, I'm not talking 4x a week!

Mae, I've got inklings about you. Test, test, test, woman!! You're killing us here. My gums started bleeding like crazy last week.

Mama~Love, I'm worried about you. That sounds like way too much bleeding. Would you consider calling your doc and telling him what's going on?

The standard advice is that if you are soaking one pad an hour, it's too much. PLEASE keep your eye out for any dizziness. I'd feel so much better if you got checked out. Some i.v. fluids. An iron test. Come on, do it for me.

AFM: I'm annoyed, frustrated, confused, wanna cry, etc.

Can someone look at my ff chart? Had a fever on the 30th but seemed to be fine yesterday. Looking at ff chart and my other chart, which says I'm 3dpo, I'm really confused. Did I O? Is the fever just not quite gone even though I don't feel feverish? If I did O, when would you call it?? Or should I just call this month a bust?

Have I mentioned I hate fevers????

yeah Im only 10dpo... Im really not heartbroken either because DF has been talking about our july wedding... we have all of our Marines picked for the arch of swords... We have a ton of great people coming that keep telling us how excited they are... and I sort of want to do this again lol.

Thanks y'all, I'm feeling better. It seems to have slowed some, and I'm trying to take it as easy as I can. It's so clotty as well, wouldn't think it'd be so messy since I just has AF a month ago.

I have another faint PINK line on a dried FRER. It is not evap as it is pink but it is well after the time so it doesn't mean a thing.

And I just dry heaved until orange bile came up...then cringed and flinched as I brushed my teeth and then marveled at the bright red spots of blood that appeared...

simply having a wonderful New Year's Day...

I guess I fit in here too this month. Only we weren't trying to conceive at all, but were a bit close to O, so there is a chance.

I got two BFN on 9 and 10 DPO on $store tests. Yesterday, 11 DPO I got a negative and didn't wait more than a few minutes to see if it would change, but 30 minutes later when I looked again it had an obvious line. It was a generic drug store blue line kind. Today, 12DPO with a $store pink line kind, and again looked negative and later when I checked back there was clearly a line there....

So am I just seeing evap lines?? I'm not sure what to think. On 9/10DPO there were no evap lines hours later, and today with the same kind of test there is....kind of confusing!! I have one test left....I'm going to try to wait until Monday if I can, when AF would be late. Of course I'm reading into every sign and symptom I have, which of course could all just indicate AF's impending arrival. Except I have a sudden yeast infection, something I haven't had in maybe 6 or 7 years?? Strange for me...

I don't remember how it was with DD (4yrs) as it was unplanned and I tested on day CD 39, which was likely long after ovulation so it was clearly positive....

Anyway...I would be happy either way. I know DH would be unhappy to have a pregnancy right now...its not a good time for us, and I think he would blame me and feel very trapped. We'll cross that bridge if we get to it I guess....

Im still waiting to O, im only on cd13 and my cbfm is still low and OPKs negative although im starting to get fertile CM and cramps, i wonder if the evening primrose oil is already working.

Also my temps are up and down every day my chart is looking so ugly!!

Villagemom6: Did I ever congratulate you?? We were cycle buddies last month. I'm SO glad you got your BFP!!!!

Mae: I've seen you tell people that morning sickness doesn't start till 5-6 weeks, but I had it at 14 DPO with my 1st DS. It was my first symptom! Sooo, you definitely could be having morning sickness!!!!

IAFM: I'm 3 DPO and have only 2 tests. I'm part of the January 9th testing tribe (the J9TT) and will be 11 DPO by then. Starting at 8 DPO I'm going to test on my Dollar Tree OPKs. This doesn't count, right??

Jenne: I REALLY think you're pregnant. I know I know I KNOW that you're not supposed to read a test after the time limit....but I've NEVER had a pink line (or any line) appear on a FRER....


ETA: My cervix is medium/high, VERY firm and closed.....does this mean anything?

With DD I had it at 5dpo! I KNOW it can start earlier than that XD

VillageMom - I absolutely adore desperate housewives, and can't wait till Sunday! I haven't read the spoilers....

So, today I broke my record and did two HPT's. The first one I did, I swear I had a pink line! I was squinting so hard, and shone a little LED flashlight onto it to really light it up, but still couldn't see anything, so I started scratching at the test strip window with my tweezers. Before I knew it, the test window area had shredded, but almost in a line so I convinced myself it was indeed a pink line. Neurotic or what???!!!!! Oops. The next test was BFN. No surprise there!

I have a question though. You guys are all always referring to your DPO. What do people with really long cycles, that are new to charting and have no idea when they ovulated go by? I last did the BD on December 24, so I'm just going to test (for real) 14 days from this date. CM has been really creamy ever since, and my temp is holding steady around 97.5.
