January Obsess and Test - Page 20

MaerynPearl- yeah I am worried that because I started it possibly too early it could have stopped any real O from happening....but the fact that my temps are nearly identical to my previous conception chart with Madilynn I am feeling a little more hopeful that it didn't stop O and just maybe I could still possibly have concieved this cycle. I guess only time will tell in this case...

Ok- My doctor wants me to continue the progesterone for 3 more days till I am 14 DPO with the new O date and then re-test for pregnancy, if no BFP then I will stop my progesterone if still no AF then they will do a blood test. So looks like I get to ride the roller coaster for a few more days. Ugh.

of course it would be nearly identical... your body had more progesterone in it than normal when you took the progesterone... and when you got pregnant.

Progesterone use is enough to convince any woman she is pregnant... ive done it myself a cycle when I did not have any chance of pregnancy (trying to hold of O so we had a shot to TTC in the summer when he came home... didnt work)

Even I was questioning if somehow miraculously I was pregnant.

OK, ladies, I need your eyes. KingsDaughter76, I am in your shoes right now. I started progesterone suppositories at 7dpo because my blood tested low. I normally only have a 10 day lp, but I decided to keep taking the suppositories until 14dpo, and if I tested negative, I would stop them and let AF come. I am at 13dpo right now, and no AF in sight (which is, I assume, due to the suppositories or being pg): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/29b7ff

I am using internet cheapies (early-pregnancy-test). Do you all see anything? This was taken at the 3 min mark, and I thought I almost could see something irl.

lol i actually replied to this on CYSAL

is this a saveontests.com test?
I see a pretty clear line on the invert!
I can see a line, but it is so far over to the left I am not sure what I am seeing, but I definitely see something.

Wanna hear about obsessed?? I feel like af is upon me, but I have been feeling crappy (a sign of af) and I just peed on another stick. Well? you guessed it, blaring white BFN I can't believe I just pissed on a dollar, it could have gone towards a coffee tomorrow morning.
I agree with your chart as it is now (cd16) unless as mae said, you took progesterone? Then any temps after that are not considered accurate and could've prevented O.
Well thanks for all the help ladies- :-)

Time will be the ultimate judge on my cycle this month- What a roller coaster ride this has been! lol!

I will post back here if I get AF or a BFP in the next few days. I would just stop my progesterone if there wasn't that chance I could have O'd later... so now I have to wait this out 3 more days.

I sure do miss the days when I could get preggo with NO help and STAY preggo with NO help.... and not have to go thru all this drama! Ah well!

Hi, I replied back on CYSAL. It's an "early-pregnancy-test" and I keep staring at your own 13dpo lines! They look very similar to save-on-tests and I imagine might even be made by the same manufacturor.

I have a dollar-tree test. I'll use that one tomorrow.

Thanks, all!

well for you

you ever get an evap on that brand before?

i purposely used two saveontests test when NOT pregnant so i could see if there were evap lines.

yet i still doubted my 11-13 dpo lines because they could have possibly been evaps when i didnt get them on the others... you know?

but then I took a FRER and got a super faint line which kept getting darker every time i took one...

and I went to the doctors office yesterday and the nurse said she had no problem at all seeing I was pregnant, was one of the darkest positives shes seen (but I was 5 weeks pregnant as of yesterday... not just 4 weeks like when I started getting my bfps)

I've never had an evap on them before (and I've taken about 25 of them on my other cycles). Yes, I am a doubter too, right now. I just looked at the test again and the line seems to be gone. Hm...

How funny that you're the one who got a BFP at 6dpo, and this pregnancy it took you so long to get one!

yeah, just proof that when you got a bfp in the past has NO bearing on future bfps! LOL

my advice... keep taking the ICs. if they start to get darker and more noticeable (it may take a couple days) then its obviously bfp.
I really wanted to wait until 9dpo to start obsessing about testing, but i lose, I poas this am and of course a BFN (7dpo) i just thought on the off chance that it is a BFP then I wouldnt have to get the bloods done today!!
Its not the needle that concerns me, its the results. We went through all of this 7.5 years ago and were both told we would never have children and we then had two incredibly healty DS, so i guess modern medicine isnt always right and I wonder if I should just give myself more time.

I had a terrible dream last night that my half sister (who is crazy) had her 4th baby girl (which she is meant to do any minute) and named her Isabella, the name that we have picked for our baby girl (7 years ago) when we have her, it made me really sad. The only reason that she would do that too would be to upset me cos she NEVER picks conventional names.

Well I have a BFP but I also am on day 3 of AF. I got up this morning and threw up and just felt so pregnant so I tested. So it looks like the spotting on 10DPO was implantation spotting but with an 11 day LP thats not good. This is my second chemical and I've had one mc at 6 weeks. I suppose I'll wait until DD weans to try to TTC again.

Good luck ladies!
I most likely had a chemical pregnancy last month and also have a 10-11 day LP. This brings up a question I haven't found an answer for yet. How long does implantation take? In other words, how many days before your expected period does implantation need to be finished so that the embryo isn't shed along with the uterine lining? Anyone know?

thats another question that depends on your body and the pregnancy

tons of women get pregnant just find with 10 day LPs

others no such luck.

I decided that since ff changed my O date and put me back at 6dpo that I am testing in the morning hah. I just spent 30 minutes looking through charts on ff where people got bfps at 6 and 7dpo.

I didn't get a positve until 14dpo and even then it was faint with my 12 week loss but a girl can hope. I plan to test at 7dpo, 10dpo, and then 13dpo.

i had one!

and then this time I had a 13dpo bfp!

so it doesnt matter WHEN you got one last time... just when you do this time!

good luck

I'm out is here.

Ok- finally things are making more sense for me- with the corrected O date of CD 16...my temps were a bit confusing for me since they seemed to mirror my conception cycle with Madilynn but I am on progesterone so that can mess with temps...I am 12 DPO....temps took a huge nosedive this am for me- I am feeling more PMS symptoms so sure AF is right around the corner- BFN on test this am- I really feel like I am out this cycle...and honestly I feel OK about it! It was my first PPAF cycle so everything was a little weird and hard to decipher. I am ready for AF to start so I can begin a fresh cycle! :-) I will post here once she arrives so I can be moved to waiting to O. Should be tomorrow or next day based on my history.

On another note- I ordered 50 IC's and 25 OPK's from BabyCreation to get ready for my next cycle! I also have 2 FRER's in my drawer waiting for the next cycle. Guess I am ready- now I just need AF to start. :-P

My birthday is in Oct- and one of my boys was born in October...so another Oct baby would be just fine!
