Which potty do you like best? The Baby Bjorn potty chair (with the back) or the small potty? My twins can't sit unassisted yet so I would think it would be easier to hold them over the small potty, what do you think? Thanks!

Thanks! Do you think a baby who can sit partially assisted (like in a Bumbo) would mind being placed on a potty chair or would they rather be held over something like a small potty or toilet?
I am just trying to figure out what to do with small babies. I have seen some people hold a container to the bottoms while the hold the baby, too. So which would a baby prefer, being sat on something or held I wonder...

You just scooch them all the way to the front and lean them forward against the splash guard.

In our case, it's which potty does my daughter like best. I have both the baby bjorn little potty, and the baby bjorn potty chair.
When my daughter was little, she mostly used the BBLP simply because it was lower to the ground and allowed her to squat rather than balance. So even when she could sit unassisted she would often lean forward and fall off if I wasn't right there to catch her (especially on the BBPC). The PC is nice since she can't fall backwards, but falling forwards was just as easy when she was little.
She seemed to prefer the BBLP (maybe because smaller is less scary?), but even today she seems to prefer it.
She's 15 months now, and the BBPC stays in the bathroom. She's very capable of backing up and sitting herself on both, but she still sometimes catches a foot on the PC if she tries to swing her leg over it. So if I'm using the toilet, I'll sit her on the PC. Or sometimes she'll want to sit on the toilet.
But sitting on the LP is EASY for her, and even if it's to just sit and play, she puts herself on it SEVERAL times a day. Sometimes several times an hour.
She uses all 3 (BBLP. BBPC, and the toilet), but her preference is and always has been, the LP.
The Ikea potty ($3.99, I think?) is basically the same as the BBLP, only taller... So you could say it's like the BBPC with no back.

my dd uses all 3 just depending on her mood. If I think she needs to go and she doesn't we might try something else until it works or we are out of options.
I saw somone mention a bumbo conversion on here and if you are ecing twins that might work well for you as you could potty them both at the same time (given they each had their own bumbo potty).
I think the person cut a hole in the bottom of the bumbo and placed a tupperware bowl in it or under it.

We have a BBLP which we love and a Bumbo potty reducer which DD will gladly sit in but loves to reach around the toilet for the toilet brush or anything else she can get her hands on, so it is not my favourite, but I don't think she really cares.
We started with the BBLP at about 7 weeks and just supported her, it was wonderful and still is, I would like to buy a few more but they are around $25 each in our area, it's just not in our budget right now!

I love that you are Ecing twins! I was wondering about that!!!
We started using the BBLP when Hannah was tiny, 3-months ish. I would hold her over it. I had it on the bathroom counter. (It's still there, and she still uses it there at almost 21 months.) When she was tiny, she definitely preferred peeing over the sink, so mostly the potty was there for me to set her down from time to time during a long poop. (My wrists and ankles got tired from the way I was holding her.) They come in really handy in the car, too!
