anyone else working out? - Page 3

I did my Summer Sanders DVD (which is frickin AWESOME, I love it) Mon-Thu, then did Yoga on Friday, then took the weekend off.

Seriously the Summer Sanders one is great. More thorough and soreness-inducing than the yoga ones.

I have the Summer Sanders but haven't tried it yet. But, I have Jennifer Wolfe's Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga and I can't say enough how great it is! It's a 75 minute vinyasa, and my legs just burn after I do it. Most prenatal yoga is focused on relaxation, but I want something to keep me strong, limber and balanced. This program definitely does it. Much better than any other prenatal yoga I've done.

I think I may pick up that Summer Sanders one. I need another video for days I cant make it out.

Thanks for the hint ladies.

Friday I finally felt good enough to start working out again. I did some work out on TV. It's a half hour long. Then I did it yesterday and today too. I can't wait til it's warm enough outside to go for walks.

I've been a terrible slacker these first three months. I've been so tired in the afternoon and at night I haven't been working out hardly at all.

I'm started to feel pretty good now so I'll start back up next week. I normally walk/run 5/6 days a week and use free weights on a stability ball. I'm going to ease back into it starting next Monday.

I also went on a half hour walk yesterday afternoon, then I took today off. Most Wednesdays are too crazy to work out. I'm hoping I can at least work out 4 days a week.

Pretty good week for me. I am amazed at how good I still feel running (or jogging...) I had this feeling that at 12ish weeks, it would be too uncomfortable, but here I am, still going strong.
I bought the Summer Sanders video off Amazon and it shipped, so I am excited to try it out!

Monday- Off (1-2 mile walk around the zoo)
Tuesday- 2 mile run/ 3 mile walk, upper body weights
Wednesday- 30 min elliptical, upper body weights
Thursday- 2 mile run/ 3 mile walk
Friday- Off
Saturday- 3 mile run
Sunday- 30 min elliptical, upper body weights

I am going to try to start doing my yoga on my run days as well, we will see how I feel once DH gets home!

I had a very good week, too. The weather finally is warming up so we have been taking more walks. Monday-- Summer Sander DVD. Tuesday-- walked/hiked all around a park for like three hours, then Yoga DVD in the evening. Wed and Thurs-- walked a mile, then Sanders DVD in the evening. Fri-- Yoga. Sat-- Sanders. Sun- off.

And really that mile is pretty long considering I have a 20-pound weight strapped to the front of me in a mei tai.

I hope you like the DVD... it may be a bit tame for you, haha, cause you seem like you're in really good shape. But it's fun. Lots of variety. It kicks my butt because I wasn't in great shape to begin with. But I seriously credit it for not having gained any weight in the first trimester. My belly is exploding outward but my legs, arms, and face are actually slimming a bit which is weird.

so I got my Summer Sander's DVD today and just did the 2nd trimester workout. It was great! Nice switch up from my normal work out and I could feel it working! Thanks Kelly.

I'm starting back into my routine. Feeling pretty good. I thought I'd be more tired and sore but so far so good.

This past week I walked 3 miles four days. I started added the incline hills toward the end of the week.

This week my goals is walk 3 miles 5 days with tougher hills.

This week sucked.

Yeah, not a great week for me either, but here it is:

Monday- 2 mile run, 3 mile walk
Tuesday-2 mile walk (tried the gym with daycare for DD, got 5 minutes of elliptical work out in, then heard "Chloe'smama please report to childcare"... haha)
Wednesday- sick as a dog
Thursday- Summer Sanders DVD
Friday- 2 mile run, 1 mile walk
Saturday- Off

I did Sanders DVD on Monday and Tuesday. Mile walk on Thursday. Mile walk on Sunday.

It was a crazy week at home, a lot going on, so it just didn't happen. Hoping to do better this week.

ETA: I do love having this thread to "report" to, though, it makes me feel guiltier when I slack off, hahaha...

I ordered a couple of DVDs a week or 2 ago... just waiting for them to come in. Then I will start those. Hopefully it will be warm enough outside for walks at the park on a regular basis in the next few weeks as well. I really need to get up and moving now that I'm starting to feel a little better.

Not a terrible week, but not great:

Monday- 1 mile run/ 2 mile walk
Tuesday- Summer Sanders DVD
Wednesday- off
Thursday- 2 mile walk
Friday- 3 mile run
Sat- off
Sunday- 1.5 mile run/ 1.5 mile walk

I need to add in some yoga too. Keep limber!

I honestly don't remember this week. It was kind of a nutty week with a lot going on. We went to the park twice and took long walk/hike. I know I did the SSanders DVD at least twice, and the yoga once. And I plan on doing the yoga tonight.

I swear next week I'm going to focus more on exercising and on getting back to a good eating plan.

I just started walking 4-6 miles every 2 or 3 days. I've bought the bellydance DVD, but I'm walking instead

Not a fabulous week, but lots of running.

Monday-Summer Sanders DVD
Tuesday- 3 mile run
Wednesday-2 mile run/ 2 mile walk
Thursday- 3 mile run
Saturday- 2 mile walk, 3 mile run
Sunday- off

Today was supposed to be a run day, but the rain had us walking inside instead. Was going to do my summer sanders dvd, but feeling so tired. Not a great way to start the week. Hopefully a 4 mile walk tomorrow and maybe even a 3 mile run in the evening!
