Overlay it with O and CL. I think that gives a better idea of how similar they are since temps can vary from cycle to cycle. The reason I'm not signing off on your O when FF says is because you don't have enough pre-O temps to 100% confirm it. You need at least 6 pre-O temps to confirm a thermal shift. Also, with the temps you have from cd20-23, I'd put your CL at 97.3 if O was cd23. Since your cd24-26 temps are not above that, I wouldn't confirm O but rather keep going until your temps go above that, which isn't until cd27. For that, I'd set your CL to 97.4. That's the way I learned to chart.

My 5yo has been talking about having a baby sister for years now. He's got a name picked out and everything. It's very sweet because he decided he liked the girl name I've had picked out since elementary school even though my dh hates it. DS says dh can name the next girl something else. My 18yo is another story. He says I don't need any more kids.

My cycles before this baby were SO predictable. I always O'd between days 14-16 and since my PPAF came back this time I seem to be Oing much later with shorter lps. Even before I started temping this time I noticed the CM/O pains lasting later and that seems to coincide with the temps I"m now getting.

This is what happens when I change it to O and CL overlay http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681 I still think the O day is right based on my symptoms but we shall see.

Yeah, I've gotten only teeny tiny bits of EWCF since having the IUD out. I am getting more creamy CF though as I go on.

Now I have 1 to 1 1/2 days of heavy flow that tapers off to spotting by CD 4 and is done by CD 5 or 6. My tendancy to heavy afs is why I absolutely couldn't do the copper IUD instead of the hormonal. Now, seeing how hormonal BC, even the low levels in the IUD, throw off my body and libedo, I just don't see myself every using them again. Hence, FAM

Hey... ok haven't read all the post... but I'm thinking I"m in some trouble. LOL I had no CF that I knew of leading up to the past few days. I normally have tons of CM on even the "dry" days. I'm never 100% dry. But my friend who taught NFP said its kinda like some women never get EWCM, or some people never go to fully dry so that's ok as long when I see something different.

Well this morning... EWCM... we DTD 2 days ago. Yest. cervix evening cervix was crazy high, and soft. I was up all night and didn't get home until 4:30am because of friend in hospital from car accident (all is well). So I never temped this morning to see if I had a temp shift. I would have O'd a tad early for me.

Anyways... lol so I'm quite worried I O'd and we will have not missed it. Oh and while waiting at the ER... pain pretty bad again like I O'd.

Soooo... lol I'm thinking I'll be in the TWW and seeing whether or not we accidentally hit the O. LOL I'll post chart in the morning when I see what temps do.

OOOh... and MW- it did give me cross hairs when I entered a temp of 97.2 today. (Then later deleted it)

Back! Real true EW all day today. I'm betting on AF in a few weeks. The baby's been sleeping really well lately, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'm probably the only one around here hoping PPAF will come sooner!

I'm going to set up my chart tonight and start marking down CM and such until I can start temping.

Amanda, I'm TWW-ing this month too. I'm 5 dpo today.

This morning I put the thermometer back in my mouth for a second reading on a whim, and it came out 97.78 the first time and 98.02 the second time. Hmmmmm. I used the first temp of course but I now know not to draw any conclusions about the actual numbers, just their relationship to each other... kind of annoying! Can't someone invent a basal therm that lights up, reads in five seconds, stores a month of temps...hey while I'm at it, and has a usb port to hook up to FF and a built in ovulation detector!

Just popping in to say hello! I've been MIA becuase I've been slacking on temping, but am resolving to be better, so hopefully I will be around a bit more.

I'm CD16, FF gave me crosshairs at CD13, but Im not putting much stock in that yet. For what its worth, X's on my chart are "protected" DTD, AM/PM aren't

ok, so I went back AGAIN and re-entered my CF into FF. It seems like I'm having to rely a lot more on sensation than I am used to. AFM: I feel like AF is about to start. Low back ache, crampy, CM coming back. I guess it's the nursing but my LP is SO short these days. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681 Oh and btw, I never mentioned it before, but all of my X's (dtd) on my chart are using w/d method. We always use it because even though I chart dh is not comfortable not w/ding until my cycles get more regular like they used to be.

motray36 ~ I agree. You don't have enough temps to confirm O yet and the temps you do have are kind of low. Do your temps usually run low? I mean, post-O temps below the norm of 97.5?

Emily ~ Hehe. I guess I'm getting too old to check out other guys. All the cute ones look to be about the same age as my oldest and that would just creep me out.

Kimmie ~ My lp starts out short with my first few PP cycles. I go through a series of O cycles with short LPs interspersed with a few anov cycles until they eventually normalize. Even though I start to get PP bleeds around 11 months PP, I don't start Oing until a few cycles later.

AFM ~ My miscarriage is pretty much over. I just have a tiny bit of spotting. It was just like a normal for me (which I've decided is too long at 6 days ). I usually start temping the day after spotting but I just didn't feel like it. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe I'll do what I was doing before and wait until I start to get fertile CF. I didn't even want to get out of bed this morning. I slept until 9:45. I just want to stay in bed all day but, eventually, someone is going to need to eat and have his butt wiped.

Question for those that use the BD therm. Do I need to wait for yesterday's temp to clear off the screen before I put it in my mouth?

Looks like it could be O. I think I do wait for the previous temp to clear. I can't remember if the screen goes blank or has an L or something else on it. Oh, maybe it has dashed lines along the bottom like it's waiting to have something filled in?

Too bad we don't pray here. I wonder if I could get my kids to do some sort of fertility dance...hehehe

LOL. We've been trying to be extra cautious because of this, we both know that ultimately it's in Gods very capable hands.

Annie - my thermometer lights up for a minute and shows yesterdays temp and then it clears out and shows dashes. So I guess I do wait, but that's just because it goes away so quickly.

It goes to two dashed lines after the last temp clears out. For some reason the thought crossed my mind this morning that maybe my temps have not been accurate because I wasn't waiting for the dashed lines. I waited this AM before I put it in my mouth. Who knows? I did have a bit of EWCF yesterday so maybe my temps are correct?

ive never been good at temping. i think i temped ONCE in the three months ive been charting. its so hard to get myself up in the morning with nothing to do, but then having to remember to temp? impossible.

Ooh I do have a question. If your watery say 24/7 would you count your less watery days as "dry"? I mean I can tell as O nears because there is just insane amounts of it. (Seriously i'm not peeing myself lol but thats what its like the few days around O)

I've been counting less wet days as dry, just if not I'm going to neve rbe able to have sex lol.

I'm still here. I think I o'ed a few days ago, but with a sick kid the one night I missed that temp, so ovusoft isn't giving me a day yet. But I'm hoping with tomorrow's temp that will change.

I found this website that sells all kinds of fertility kits and supplements. From reading on that website, I think the maca and zymessence might be good for me. If the fertility cleanse kit is safe while nursing, I might use that first then start using the others. Do any of you know anything about that stuff?

So I guess I'd better get back to temping tomorrow just in time for the weekend If my next cycle follows my usual length I should O sometime around 18-21 January. I could already be pregnant! Ok, that never really did make sense to me how they date pregnancy from LMP.

I just opened an awesome bottle of Syrah (Bridgeman winery from the Columbia river valley in Washington state) that I bought before I got pregnant with DS. That's the most depressing thing about being pregnant. All these awesome bottles of wine and I can't drink them! So before the 18th I need to finish this bottle and a dessert wine a friend gave me for Christmas. Of course if we're not successful this month I can have another bottle or two before next O.
