Family Cloth Making - Page 2

Yea I'd fix the machine asap or buy a new one (i have a brother, 130 bucks or so at walmart and it works amazingly) But having it saves me so much money it's probably paid itself off already in the year I've had it.

I know I need to, I have a very old brother and the only thing wrong with it is the tension. I find it wasteful to get rid of it and buy another ATM

Well hopefully you can just get it fixed then. Brothers are good.

brothers are good, though i don't have one (human or machine! LOL)

thanks, I know it's a good machine. The lady that gave it to me said that as soon as you figure it out it ROCKS. I'm waiting for my sewing friend to come by and take a look at it, if she doesn't fix the tension then I'll just go ahead and take to to the sewing machine repair people I've heard about in the next large city :/

Great idea looking forward to trying it.  Just need to gauge how many.

I sewed a zig zag stitch and let the flannel fray the first few washes, the ones I made out of t-shirt material are the best!  I hang a lingerie bag on the toilet paper hook behind the toilet paper and toss them in when after using them.  Then just toss the whole bag in the wash.

I wish I could get DH on board he is fine with no paper any were else in the house but won't give up TP.
