#10- The Doll's House by Rumer Godden
#11 - The Saturdays by Elizabeth Enright
Both recommended by dd. The Doll's House was creepy! Holy Cow, I can't believe she didn't have nightmares, but apparently she thought it was cozy, and I can see why she'd love the doll theme. The Saturdays is one I loved as a girl, and it was awesome - about a family of four kids in the 1940s who pool their allowances each week to allow one of them to have a solo adventure. Just lovely.
