Cant stand to sleep w/DS suddenly...what is going on?

DS is 2.5 and didint SSTN until age 2. We co sleep and for 4 glorious months I've had rest again. DH had to leave the bed ages ago becasue he snores and between DS waking and the snoring I literally was NOT sleeping and I became an angry hot tempered zombie.

About a month ago my cute little sleeping cuddly angel has turned into a person I cannnot share a bed with. He began scooting under the blanket so that his head was covered. Then he began scooting farther and farther until I would wake up and not see him in the bed only to find him down by my feet rolled in the covers. Eek! Not safe. So id pull him back up to the pillow and within 15 minutes he be scooting underneath again. So I stopped sleeping well again always checking to make DS isnt wrapped in blankets suffocating. He also scoots around so much he has come very close to falling off th bed in various directions. Also something I'm watching out for.

In addition to that DS has to touch skin all of a sudden. And not a hand, but he prefers to dig with his fingers until he finds my belly or back and then his little fingers wriggle and scartch and twist around on my skin. Imagine a very small octopus or something. I cant seem to escape it and I cant sleep through it and it's ANNOYING beyond belief. And DS seems possessed when he does this. I try to move hishands back to his space and he pushes them back and fights against me.

What is going on? I'm so freaking tired again and I'm 14 weeks pregnant and REALLY need me sleep!

I'm betting it's his subconsicous reaction to your pregnancy hormones.....

Can DH sleep with him in another bed?

i read your title and thought, "she's pregnant." Sorry. I think it's a pregnancy thing.

sibling rivalry begins early, huh?

Yup. I was going to post, "is it possible you might be pregnant?"

My stepdaughter coming in during the night went from staying just shy of the tolerable-intolerable line (she's 7, big, and not a sound or still sleeper) to NO FRIGGING WAY when I got pregnant.

This was absolutely my reaction when I read your title as well. Same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with #2. Sorry, I don't have any practical advice.
