Is NBC's Chuck any good?

I have never seen Chuck, but just the comercials. Is it any good? With a new season starting do I have to watch any missed episodes to know what is going on?

Chuck rocks. I would absolutely catch up somehow, recaps or watching online because there's a lot that happens. Our whole family enjoys the show, including the 4 year old who has a total crush on Chuck. I can't wait for the new season to start

DH and I have been waiting and waiting for it to start. I'm not sure how we're going to like him with his new superspy skills. Loved him as the nerdy incompetent guy. I'd watch old ones if you can first.

I love Chuck too. It is so breezy and fun compared to all the police procedurals and mean spirited reality programs. You completely have to suspend reality at times but that's okay. I love all the characters even though I fully expected to hate his sister for instance.

It's good. It's not *excellent* TV (you have to just go along with some stuff, heavy-handed romance and comedy or even plotting at times, but then most shows are like that ) but we love watching. It's hilarious and escapist and nerd-loving, and it can be very moving at times.

Good to know. I just added it to my netflix. I have a hard time discovering stuff that is "clean" enough to be ok for the whole family to watch.

I wasn't really interested in it before (from the few episodes I've seen) but the new season looks good.

I thought the commercials were great and watched the first 3 episodes. It was like one long chase scene, and so I gave up on it. Car chasing, running, etc. only ... just got old. I don't know if it is still like that.

DH and i watch it for our date night, but I don't let the kids watch it. They show some flesh and make some not so appropriate comments, imo.
