Tribe for Hairy Mamas in 2010 - Page 5

I am still here in my ever hairer glory! I haven't touched a razor and my goodness it's weird to see hair under my arms! I still think it's hot...dh still does not. My leg hair is patchy in that it is missing in some spots on my lower legs. Random spots, and it looks weird to me. I don't have almost any hair on my thighs which has always been the case. But I remember before that epilady my leg hair was even all over the bottom half of my leg! Evil epilady...grumble grumble.

Oh, and I have a question. Is it me, or is my underarm a little more...scentful that it was sans hair?

I have naval hair, it's thick and dark and wiry, not like the hair on my arms and legs, which is light and fine. I used to pluck it out, but haven't in several years. I was a bit self conscious about it but then I thought about how much I love dh's belly hair, so why hate on my own?

I have 4 or 5 soft hairs just under my navel, slightly on the left side that grew while I was pg with dd. I love them sort of makes up for never having gotten a single stretch mark during pg.

I'm just jumping in to add myself..

I shave my legs and under arms when I can, my chin every other day. I have hairs on my chest, but not like my underarm or legs.

I recall yrs ago thinking, no man would want me.. I had horrible low self esteem. I'm much much better now, (praise God) but.. anyway. My ex husband loved hairy women, he got excited when I admited I have this problem. He even sent his youngest daughter to come and say hi to me at work, just to give him a report.. It was kind of cute, when I discovered that is what she was doing.. She was so sweet, calling me mom, hugging/squeezing me... He loves extra large, hairy women with a gap... That's me... I hated everything that he loved and got aroused about.

That one man, God blessed me to marry for a short period, tought me a lot and gave me confidence I had already started buiding on. Praise God.

I know some people say don't shave your face, but I had to do what I had to do. I have two friends who shave and they look great.. I use to pay for facial threading, which is wonderful, but I am on a budget now.

Hugs,

no. i don't use any conditioner or soaps of any kind on my body or hair.
Nope, none here.

i use conditioner on my pit hair occasionally. since i don't use deoderant, a good scrubbing and a dash of conditioner usually helps get out any residual smell in the summer. in the winter i find i don't really have to do that...but in the summer...i do.

don't get me wrong...i love my smell, and dh loves my smell...but everyone else?? not so much. so i try to keep it down to a low roar.

i used to have nipple hair...then it all went away when i became a nursing mother. not sure if it will come back when all is said and done, but since that is about two years off, i doubt it will.

i only had a few strays to begin with. maybe 3-4 on each breast.

You say you used to have nipple hair, but then later you say 3-4 on each breast... so do you mean on the actual nipples? because that's what I thought the other person was asking. Or on the aereola? Or on the breasts?

Sorry, but I thought it was all so clear, hair on nipples, until I read your response, and it got me wondering if she actually did indeed mean hair on the nipples, as I thought she meant.

Here and still hairy! Have I missed much?

Well, actually I did shave for v-day...it was kind of cool. But i got over it real quick. And then on the 1st warm day I went outside and couldn't feel the wind blowing in my leg hairs. I think I need a hug.

But it's growing in nicely now and should be fully furry before to long.

Oh dear...I have major nipple hair. sometimes 10 or more, and usually 2 hair coming out of each follicle thingy. Drives me batty.

Well, if you recall my husband wigged out about that whole marriage thing, and I ended up quitting the internet for several months. Then I came back, but was, well, all weirded out and paranoid about him stalking me.

But it's all good now. I grew some and it's all gravy.

Do you think I should reschedule?????
yay for gravy! I love gravy
and yes. you should reschedule.
