1- homemade pizza, 1 pepperoni and 1 onion, red pepper, black olive. made a white bean soup
2- homemade biscuits and gravy with pot roast leftovers. made "
healthy no-bake cookies"
3- chicken & pasta casserole (I had enough for two last week), yummy salad. whole wheat banana bread with flax & ground oatmeal.
4- FFY. linguine marinara for a late lunch...
5- I made my first whole chicken! in the crock, rubbed it with salt, pep & paprika, and set it up in the slow cooker with lemon, garlic and rosemary... kind of like
here, but with paprika. - I saved the white bean soup! - Made medium grain brown rice & added frozen peas toward the end.
6- late snack- homemade pizza with roasted eggplant & goat cheese.. a little bit of leftover dough got made into a solitary cinnamon roll sort of thing, for which I even made icing.
7- I made the brown rice with peas again and used some strategic positioning to hide it in the fridge, since it got scarfed down so quickly last time :P leftover chicken, some zucchini... chips and salsa after the baby went to bed...
8- had a yummy salad for lunch, enchiladas with leftover chicken for dinner!
9- Mojadra- lentils and rice (a little salt) topped with seasoned carmelized onions (a little salt, cumin, coriander, pinch of cayenne) and yogurt mixed with dill.
10- pasta with shrimp, leeks, broccoli, and a little red pepper & olive oil. making a cake tonight so it will be ready to frost in the morning... finally baked some super sour sourdough I had in the works for a couple days.... also made banana bread.... as well as cheesecake-swirled brownies ....!
11- lunch out with my dad for my brother's birthday... leftovers, cake, etc.
12- leftovers all day long!!
13- Three Sisters Stew from FtWF- yum!!
14- lentils w/ spinach, roasted carrots
15- leftovers, my mom made a "pizza casserole"

moroccan chicken, baked
17- spent the whole day in the city, still didn't buy a thing!

leftovers with eggs for breakfast, then decided to throw together a pizza before we had to leave. My mom vetoed using the chicken itself on the pizza, so I just put the whole chickpeas on as a topping- WIN! I will definitely make
pizza with chickpeas in the future! So that was the perfect thing to take with us on our journey, and then DD's dad fed us a bit while we were at his place. Meanwhile my mom used up all the freezer veggie scraps (incl 1 gizzard) to make broth, and made that into a
potato soup, using up all our new potatoes and leaving a few russets I'll need to work in soon.
