January 1 - Franks and beans. Exciting, I know.
January 2 - Cereal for lunch, pasta with sauce and garlic bread for dinner.
January 3 - DD asked for bean and cheese nachos.
January 4 - Fresh from the oven, homemade bread with butter, jelly, and peanut butter (not all together!) We ate so much, nobody was hungry for a 'real' dinner. Have black beans soaking for tomorrow.
January 5 - Turkey dogs wrapped in crescent rolls.
January 6 - The beans still haven't made it onto plates yet. I was planning on making sweet potato burritos with the black beans, but I napped with the kids, so we had a mishmash for dinner - yogurt, carrots, salad, random stuff.
January 7 - I don't even remember what we had last night, but I know we ate it here.
January 8 - Sweet potato burritos, finally! Hoping to use up the rest for taco soup sometime over the weekend.
January 9 - Scrambled eggs, bacon, english muffins = breakfast for dinner
January 10 - Red beans and rice with sausage
January 11 - The kids had pb&j's with apples (their choice); I had a salad.
January 12 - My dad took us out to dinner, so technically we ate out, but we didn't pay for it.
January 13 - Frozen pizza
January 14 - Maple glazed salmon filets with cheesy broccoli
January 15 - Grilled cheese for the kids, large salad for me
January 16 - Fish Sticks with Lima Beans
January 17 - Pasta with sauce
January 18 - Leftovers
January 19 - Scrambled eggs with bagels and lox
January 20 - Dad took us out to IHOP.
January 21 - More leftovers
January 22 - Fish Sticks with cheesy broccoli

We cook vegan...I'll write when not vegan

1. All you can eat veg sushi-G/C from xmas(I don't count it as eating out)
2. Chickpea potato curry w tossed salad and roasted eggplant
3. Homemade pizza w coleslaw and carrot sticks
4. New meal-chop suey w toasted almonds on rice, roasted eggplant, carrot sticks.
5. Curry lentil soup
6. Veggie stir fry with almonds on noodles
7 Homemade pizza
8. Dh's night to cook-Split pea/10 bean mix soup with tons of veggies. It was really a thick stew. Roasted potatoes, penne noodles(?why? no idea) and salad...
9. Leftover penne noodles w tomato eggplant sauce/hemp seeds. salad and leftover potatoes
10.Take out veggie burgers
11.Falafel w roasted masala potatoes, roasted cauliflower, corn and tossed salad
12. Sicky mommy means take out thai daddy.
13. Ds had leftover thai, I made a quick vegetable soup using leftover chickpeas, leftover rice frm last night.
14. veggie/almond stirfry on millet
15. Dh snuck veggie dogs into the cart.He made dinner of veggie dogs and coleslaw. I despise fake meat.

17. Dd's first birthday party!!! We had a vegetarian fest- avocado/cuke sushi rolls, edamame, dumplings, egg rolls, 2 types of hummus/pita, peanut butter sandwiches, eggsalad sandwiches, cream cheese sandwiches, veggies, spinach dip, deviled eggs, cream cheese/red pepper jelly dip w crackers and vegan vanilla cupcakes
18. Leftovers frm the birthday party
19. Pigeon peas and rice w roasted veggies and carrot sticks/sliced tomato/and cuke
20. Penne w eggplant tomato sauce and adzuki bean balls with olives on top.
21. $7.00 popcorn and 3.75 soda for me at Disney Playhouse Live...ds ate a bit before, but we caved and ate popcorn.

23.NEW MEAL-slow cooker red lentil soup/flat bread..nice to come home frm wrk and dinners ready
24.Thai green curry on b. rice w a coleslaw type salad

26. Masala roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, carrot/cuke sticks, and a salsa made w leftover corn, black beans frm lunch w a half a soft tomato, tomato paste, g. onion, garlic and chips. Ds asked if we could have this dinner everynight LOL

1-6 DH and I had more burritos and the kids had more burgers
1-7 DH made beef roast, carrots, potatos and gravy
1-8 lentil and chard curry and fresh bread
1-9 spagetti and meatballs (with vension which I usually don't like but these were good), garlic toast
1-10 tandoor chicken with rice and some of the leftover curry as sides

1-12 homemade frozen pizza (last time I made pizza I made an extra) and salad
1-13 potato soup and fresh bread
1-14 We ended up at Famous Dave's which would have been okay, but DH and DS2 went out for lunch too I sort of felt like I fell off the eat at home, flexatarian wagon.
1-15 pasta with a creamy sundried tomato sauce with some sundried tomatos that had been in the cupboard a very long time and bread and green salad.
1-16 I made French onion soup for lunch and DS1 made boxed mac and cheese and canned corn for supper (pretty good for only seven)
1-17 DH made stir fry for lunch and I made biscuits with sort of a beef pot pie filling for supper.
1-18 Beef barley soup fresh bread
1-19 pork chops and red cabbage
1-20 red curry with veggies and rice noodles
1-21 I think DH is going to make lamb and a couscous dish
1-22 birthday cake, pizza, and mayhem (DS1 birthday sleepover) This ended up being take out pizza

1-25 sausage and shrimp gumbo
1-26 The best meal so far this year! DH grilled fliet mignon, made a pasta dish and a salad. Yea DH!

21. Nachos with pinto beans, avocado, sour cream, salsa, and cheese

23. Out, yummy Korean food. But this is the second time we've gone out in 4 months so I don't feel bad.

We cook vegan...I'll write when not vegan

1. All you can eat veg sushi-G/C from xmas(I don't count it as eating out)
2. Chickpea potato curry w tossed salad and roasted eggplant
3. Homemade pizza w coleslaw and carrot sticks
4. New meal-chop suey w toasted almonds on rice, roasted eggplant, carrot sticks.
5. Curry lentil soup
6. Veggie stir fry with almonds on noodles
7 Homemade pizza
8. Dh's night to cook-Split pea/10 bean mix soup with tons of veggies. It was really a thick stew. Roasted potatoes, penne noodles(?why? no idea) and salad...
9. Leftover penne noodles w tomato eggplant sauce/hemp seeds. salad and leftover potatoes
10.Take out veggie burgers
11.Falafel w roasted masala potatoes, roasted cauliflower, corn and tossed salad
12.Sicky mommy means take out thai daddy.
13. Ds had leftover thai, I made a quick vegetable soup using leftover chickpeas, leftover rice frm last night.

15. Dh snuck veggie dogs into the cart.He made dinner of veggie dogs and coleslaw. I despise fake meat.

17. Dd's first birthday party!!! We had a vegetarian fest- avocado/cuke sushi rolls, edamame, dumplings, egg rolls, 2 types of hummus/pita, peanut butter sandwiches, eggsalad sandwiches, cream cheese sandwiches, veggies, spinach dip, deviled eggs, cream cheese/red pepper jelly dip w crackers and vegan vanilla cupcakes

19. Pigeon peas and rice w roasted veggies and carrot sticks/sliced tomato/and cuke
20. Penne w eggplant tomato sauce and adzuki bean balls with olives on top.
21. $7.00 popcorn and 3.75 soda for me at Disney Playhouse Live...ds ate a bit before, but we caved and ate popcorn.

23.NEW MEAL-slow cooker red lentil soup/flat bread..nice to come home frm wrk and dinners ready

26. Masala roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, carrot/cuke sticks, and a salsa made w leftover corn, black beans frm lunch w a half a soft tomato, tomato paste, g. onion, garlic and chips.

28. Veggie pot pie using the frozen leftover stew dh made a couple of weeks ago as a filling. Was super yummy
29. "Gotta go stew" in the slowcooker-1/2 can of tomato sauce, 1/2 can tomato paste, some carrots, cabbage, 3 small potatoes, leftover noodles from pasta night homemade broth, soup bean mix and spices.

Total take outs this month 4!!!! YAY! not bad I dont think! Hope to do better in Feb!!
