Kingsdaughter- my cervix is high, closed, yet mushy. Kinda medium. Don't know what that means for either of us.

All the time I spent ttc for ds (6 years) it seemed everyone I knew was pregnant. Then while I was pregnant no one else was. Now that I'm ready to try again & waiting for af to return everyone is pregnant again! This morning - yet another woman I know announced - that's 3 this week!!!

Tara: It definately looks like you did O! How exciting! Not sure when, but I don't think it's in the last couple days. I think FF may have pinpointed it right. Could this be a triphasic pattern?
What happens if you leave out the temps from when you were sick?

I have not been around for a while, socal, could you move me to 2ww.

DS has been having some really strange nights lately. He gets up and is whiny, crying, and wants to snuggle really close. It lasts a few hours and keeps me up in the middle of the night. I have been unable to temp for the last 2 nights, which is the worst time to not temp because I am pretty sure I was going to O one of those days.

On top of that, DH could not "perform" last night, so we missed that change.

Anyway, I am going on the assumption that I O'd already because my monitor told me so (predicted for Wednesday), and because an internet pee stick said that I was about to O on Sunday. Hopefully it was earlier than Wed, so that we got a little closer.

Lifeguard--I feel like everyone I know is pregnant or is just now having their second. It makes it harder to be patient, doesn't it?

Tara, your chart does look great, although confusing! I would guess O somewhere around CD 87, but FF may have it right also. Either way, your temps look great!

Fingers crossed that you caught the egg, rcr. It makes it so hard when crazy nights coincide with O!

babymango, my first pp cycle was 39 days. I o'd on CD 31, so I had a short LP. Since then, O has moved up to cd 21 or 22.

westcoastlady--welcome! I definitely noticed a drop in supply around AF. I'm not sure if that means you will for sure lose your milk during pregnancy, although I think that is pretty common.

Kingsdaughter, I think CD 16 looks right. Your chart looks great!

gottecat, I don't know about the cramping, but keep my fingers crossed for you!

AFM, crampy and spotting. I'm just hoping AF holds off until tomorrow so at least my LP will hit 10 days. Otherwise, I wonder I need to cut out more nursing sessions.... I was really hoping that nightweaning would improve things more. We are now nursing just three times a day. GRRRR!

? Anyone get ewcm like 8days before O ? this happened last cycle also but on the day of that i for some reason just marked it as creamy and didnt have a giant jump like i do this cycle. current chart

Hey, just checking in. DD turned 8 months old today. Still waiting on my first PP AF, still ecobfing. We introduced solids around 6 months, she'll have nothing to do with purees, so we're doing BLW, and she really is not getting a significant amount of her caloric intake from solids yet, so no noticeable decrease in nursing frequency. I am still temping, but I am not sure if it is benefiting things in any way, as my sleep is some what erratic... I never wake up at the same time, and some days I just don't temp because I'm moving around and nursing so often still. That being said, beginning yesterday I noticed some nipple soreness. Today it is def. worse. At first I thought it was in my head, but right now I am laying in bed nursing DD and it is certainly uncomfortable, both sides. No breast tenderness, just nipple soreness. Could this be a sign of ovulation? My breasts have also felt significantly emptier today, but maybe she has been nursing more often... I've been kind of busy lately, and just nurse on demand without paying much attention so I'm not sure if that's the reason... I kind of wish AF would just show up already so I can know what's going on with my body!

Ok- finally things are making more sense for me- with the corrected O date of CD 16...my temps were a bit confusing for me since they seemed to mirror my conception cycle with Madilynn but I am on progesterone so that can mess with temps...I am 12 DPO....temps took a huge nosedive this am for me- I am feeling more PMS symptoms so sure AF is right around the corner- BFN on test this am- I really feel like I am out this cycle...and honestly I feel OK about it! It was my first PPAF cycle so everything was a little weird and hard to decipher. I am ready for AF to start so I can begin a fresh cycle! :-) I will post here once she arrives so I can be moved to waiting to O. Should be tomorrow or next day based on my history.

Tara - I think you O'ed; I just am not sure exactly when. I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Kingsdaughter76 - I'm glad things finally make sense! It is just miserable to be wondering what on earth is going on. Maybe next cycle will be perfectly clear and lead to a BFP.

YubaRiver - Did you make it to 10 days?

My temp took a big jump this morning. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, as I've had enough flukes this cycle, but in case it does stay up and look like ovulation, I'm not sure when ovulation would have happened. Based on all my signs, I would guess Sunday, but then that's three days of lower temps post ovulation. If it was yesterday, though, I certainly did not have any highly fertile signs. Thoughts? My chart is linked in the list if you'd be willing to look. Again, this is all preliminary, because I am absolutely not getting excited just yet.

Tara- my cervix is the same way! A pregnant cervix is high and soft, but closed. I think it's also posterior until labor begins, then it shifts forward more. Hope that's a good sign for all of us!!!

lifeguard- oh man isn't that the worst! preggos popping up everywhere and most of them are "oops" pregnancies which hits us where it hurts. Hopefully we'll join the league of the waist-less soon!

Yuba_River- did Af show up? It might take a few cycles for your system to get used to the hormone regulation from nightweaning. Don't give up hope!

rcr- is he wanting to nurse more or just snuggle? maybe he's noticing a change in your milk (taste or supply wise) and you did actually O on Wednesday? Are you using a fertility monitor or OPKs?

Crunchykatie- that is usually my first sign of impending O, even before I start getting fertile CM! keep us posted!

zwitterion- going to check out your chart now. I usually have a temp drop a couple days before O, so maybe yours is doing the same thing?

My midwife just left about an hour ago and dropped my blood work off at the lab. I should have the results by this evening or tomorrow afternoon. I have glanced at the clock 3 times already. this is going to be a looooong day! I keep playing out "you're not pregnant" convos in my head to somewhat prepare myself but my wishful thinking keeps pushing them out and replacing them with a more exciting outcome. DH, who isn't know for his optimism, keeps reminding me that obsessing about being pregnant can actually trick your body into holding off your period. Thanks, honey for thinking I'm a loony person.

My nipples are still very sore, now with mild breast tenderness. I also had a wave of nausea after vacuuming this morning. I'm pretty sure I'm just driving myself crazy, though. I'm hoping this is O related! I have one HPT in the closet, from the $ tree, and I'm resisting. My question is: for those of you who experience nipple soreness with ovulation, how long does this usually last? I'm wondering if this doesn't subside by Sunday I should test or just ride it out... No increase in CM or libido for now...

arianascrunchymama- tell your dh he's mistaken about that. Stress in the 2ww cannot delay your period. Only pre-O stress can delay O, thereby extending your cycle and giving you a 'late period'. Important distinction! that's pretty cool about the cervix. I am thinking i must be out because according to FF I am 11dpo and had a bfn on frer today... with DS I had bfp by then (I know, I know). Just feeling like no way am I pg today.

zwitterion- thanks so much and yay for temp jumps! Mine jumped yesterday and today to a new level. I don't know what this means anymore, lol. i am having a bucket of cm though for several days. kinda creamy.

Well I decided to chart this month since I'm out of opks. Here's my chart:

and strangely, it looks like I may have already ovulated... on cd 9?
I'm also taking b6 this month with the hopes that it lengthens my lp.

I guess he just wants to snuggle, and perhaps nurse a little more. I am not sure what is up with him, but he has been sick, so I think that has something to do with it.

I am not sure when I O'd because I have not been able to temp since Sunday due to DSs wakefulness at night. I am using a monitor, and it said I would O on Wed, but the OPK was positive on Sunday. Based on my history, I am fairly certain that I O'd one of those days though.

Yes, it does look to me like you may have O'd, although you need a few more days to know for sure.

arianascrunchymama, have you heard? I am guessing you haven't had AF yet, so that's good, right?
I read this thread daily, but because nothing is happening with me, I don't often post.However, the last couple of days I have had sore boobs, mainly a sort of tingling in the nipples, and some mild cramping. My chart says I haven't O'd and I haven't had fertile cm, so I don't know what's going on. I even took a FRER yesterday, of course it was bfn.Maybe I am gearing up to O? Who knows.I am confused!
My LO is still feeding quite alot.Today I decide to start taking B6 and vitex along with the royal jelly and folic acid I have been taking with my maca drink ...hoping something will help!

Well that was fun while it lasted. My nipples aren't sore today and I'm feeling like my usual self as far as I can tell. I'm going to guess that it was related to O, because I just know that I'm not pg. Either way, that's exciting! Hopefully I'll get my first AF in a couple of weeks... that or obvious pg symptoms. With my first child I had my first ppaf around 9 or 10 months. DD is 8 months right now, so this would put me in the same general time frame as last time. We'll see!

Let's get some more BFP's this month!
