you arent out of the game!

I might have to go back to the DT and buy more tests. I feel obsessed this month, no zen about me this month. I don't always have the feeling I am, but this month I do. If I am not, I will be beyond upset (as I am sure you understand) but this month it will be more for me, don't know why.

We were in the 70's today finally. Supposed to get colder this weekend. Longest winter ever here in FL. Usually we have patchy cold days. You know, one or two in Jan one in Feb, then BAM! Summer until Jan again! It's been cold for more than a week the whole town just about shuts down. We are so soft here.

Car sex...yes um tried it once a looong...wait..umm twice...a loooong time.. wait... Forget it. None of them were with DH and we don't need to talk about that shhhhhh! Don't even get me started on other places I have...um nothing. None of those were in my TTC days that is for sure!

I started painting the white trim in our living room after I wrestled DS to sleep. At 430pm.....Remind me that was a bad idea later at midnight when he's partying on the countertops. After 2 very messy doorways, I lost interest. I hate painting. Since I pretty much quit drinking coffee I haven't accomplished much. If I had had coffee, I would have finished the whole house.

Come Beloved!! It's up to you and Tear. Tear, how manydpo are you?

Beloved, it was the same for me this month. I was almost hysterical around O time and the next week or so after it
I was so sure since we finally did everything perfectly, supplements......I was so sure this would be the month. I am taking it surprisingly well so far.

Oh! I'm 12dpo. wooo cycle buddies again!

Just read this:

In the past, women having difficulty conceiving might have been advised to limit their caffeine intake. But recent studies suggesting that stimulating drinks, and specifically green tea, might boost fertility. In a study conducted at Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program of Northern California in Oakland, researchers found that women who drank more than one half cup of caffeinated green tea every day doubled their odds of conceiving.

and it got me thinking. (First of all, I quit coffee!! I knew it helped me last time...JK!)
OK, not sure what the chances are each cycle with properly timed BD (Mae?)
So hypothetically say it's 25% properly timed intercourse. OK then double that due to my green tea consumption...so 50% (Dems pretty durn good odds!) Then anyway I'm gonna do the math, but I think I had a 3654% chance of getting pregnant this cycle, and nada!
i do not trust ANYTHING that claims to double your chances unless you are unhealthy and it is making you healthy...

especially since not even IVF or well timed IUI double your chances (its slightly less than double)

and perfectly timed intercourse in healthy adults is around 30% chance of pregnancy each given month (between 25-35 on each study or report i have seen)... really the ONLY way you can get it above that is fertility treatments.

of course, you CAN help your odds if you are not healthy and get healthy... (which is why we take maca and our vitamins!)

that would up it from anywhere from 0 to 25% (depending on just what is wrong with your health) up to the usual 30 range

oh and... completely 100% anecdotal speaking, you want your odds, go check FF lol

according to it, around 33% chance each month no matter what you do (its a bit high, imo, but still pretty accurate)

with my timing (O-2, O-1 and O) it puts it up to 39%

of course... that is not scientific

but does say to me that there IS an increase witih my timing as opposed to, say, totally missing it!

ETA - its green tea... im thinking its not the CAFFEINE in it that matters!

I may check into getting a FSH after AF starts. However if the results are bad, I dunno if I could handle it. spppppghhhhhhhhh!
I mean I seem to be able to get preg after 3-4 cycles, but...you know...whatever ...
I know you mentioned you didn't have much EWCM this cycle Mae and got preg. I was so sure this month was it since the amount of EWCM was um disgusting (if it weren't so beautiful ) The last time I had EWCM like that I got preg.

I'll be back in a minute..........
testing again? lol

and yeah i hardly had EWCM even though the past months had been (as you put it) disgusting lol
post #169 of 571
DS was emptying the tub onto the bathroom floor with a cup......

You know it's funny...so next month when I am at this stage in the TTC game remind me that I have nooooooooooo symptoms of AF when I am not preg. However when I am preg, it feels like AF is beating on my door for 4-5 days before AF would be due. Weird.
Before DS if I ever had to go to a doc and they asked when my last AF was I would be like...um..last month. Now I know the time of day for the past 15 months. I don't like it. I miss the good old days.

On an annoying note. Our new business is going well, but DH has been working long hours. It's 7:40pm now and he is on his way home. Poor thing. Anyway back to me, focus! I was doing so well going to the gym every day but I haven't been in the week that he started working these hours because DH HATES the child care room at the gym. I don't blame him. They've set it up for catatonic children. If you recall, mine is "a handful" Ahem!
Now my membership is almost up and there is a gym a little farther away (Traffic suckkks getting there) but they have a rockin' child care area. They have hamster trail tubes or whatever you call them all the way up into the sky. I want to play in there too! He probably wouldn't even notice I'd left for an hour as long as there were other kids there. I don't much care for gym #2 for myself, but if I can no longer go to this one, it's better than nothing, right? I don't have anyone that I leave DS with. I hate the idea of any kind of childcare, but man, this 7am to 8pm lockdown is killing me!

I'm always blind with these things, but I actually think I can see something (normally I just shut up when I can't, because I hate being the 'I really don't see anything' person. for you Beloved I really really hope this is your month. You've waited long enough, IT'S YOUR TURN!!!

my in-laws are happy that we're "waiting." oy. they are one of those couples that "decided" to get pregnant with their kids and conceived both the first try, so if i'm not pregnant we must be waiting. which everyone thinks is great because they think we aren't ready. sigh!
I think we have the same fb friends. I had one just post at 5 weeks. She JUST found out. Seriously she must have just missed her period and announced. And every day she talks about how nauseous she is, and how annoying it is. Seriously??? I guess those of us on this board will never ever be able to understand that kind of attitude.

I'm right in the middle of my cycle (well, just a few DPO) and I have pretty much entered the land of Bitterville. I was in denial about Bitterville for a few months... but figured I better join here now before I go all fetal again when I get my BFN.
WELCOME, bitterness is welcome, but so are BFP's, so here's hoping you get yours this cycle!!!!!! Good luck!

My wonderfully sensitive and sweet KD said that we could do another one next week if needed... but he's not available tomorrow or Sunday, so if I do O late, it better be at least a few days late. Otherwise, I'll be sitting here patiently waiting for my Sophie.
So what's funny about this paragraph is that you mentioned the word marinating in an earlier post (I HAVE been lurking and keeping up with you even though I haven't been posting) and last night when I was laying there with my feet up, I started laughing and thought to myself, "it really does feel like marinating" LMFAO. Thanks Lyndzies I hope you O tomorrow too . We will be in the 2ww together again then!

Ok, time to go keep reading and catching up.
Sound like GOOD signs at 10dpo girlie!!!

I'll come back and post a pic though, I keep thinking I see a faint one, but I know it couldn't be
I really do think I saw something Beloved. It is very early, and you're timing was perfect this cycle. Keep your chin up

AFM- I'm sorry if I missed anyone, I started with page 8, because my post would be three pages long if I started any earlier! I feel like I've been neglecting you ladies I'm so sorry! Here's a collective group hug. Forgive me? I have been reading EVERY SINGLE post, just been trying to do too much lately. I'm back though. Had a surge this morning, so it looks like I'll O tomorrow. If the monitor is right I should have my temp rise Sunday . I have a P4 blood test NEXT Monday (10dpo) to see what my progesterone looks like. If this cycle is a bust next cycle we're throwing everything at the PCOS- the meds, the trigger and an IUI, and see if that combo works. I've been talking to a lot of the girls on soulcysters and they all seem to have it worse than me- most are anovulatory. So I'm grateful to have that much going for me! Anyway, good luck to all of you in the 2ww, and to all of those entering the 2ww and of course all those waiting to O. I love you girls! Hang in there!

Hi Nanette Good luck on your upcoming O!! I hope I am soon squinting at your early BFP!!!
Just have enough time to read everything and to give a little update. Noticeable nausea today, more than yesterday. I did have a sore throat this morning, so I'm a little annoyed that I might just be getting sick. I've felt that way pregnant and not pregnant so that's no help.

I'm in 6DPO land, the very worst of the DPO's. I don't have any cheap tests and so I'm gonna TRY and hold out till I'm at the very least not spotting at 11 or 12DPO to test.

Good luck to all of you, I thought I saw a line on one of your tests Beloved but I honestly can't say for sure one way or the other. Hoping it's your turn, you too Tear and engio. to everyone!!

Eeee! Sorry about that Me=bad influence. Hope is so scary, but it's really good to see you so hopeful again. I love you and am thinking about you every day. Hugs.

I heard Green Tea was AWESOME for fertility/TTC bc it increases you CM. You just have to make sure you drink some additional water bc it still contains about 1/4 of the caffeine in regular coffee. I was drinking green tea when I got my BFP.

10dpo: BFN

I know it is still early, but a faint line to obsess over would be good.

OI also just realized that my nipples are a teeny bit sore, I wonder if that means that af is on her way??

A lot of ladies report sore throats in the 2ww before they get their BFP's, and Mae can talk to you about the early nausea too!! Jessica!!!

Beloved, I bet they wouldn't hurt if you quit touching them to see if they were sore! (I do it too, but stop!) I refuse to give up on you at 10dpo. It is too early.

Tear How is it going girlie? I must've missed an earlier post, and I know you're in the 2ww, so I'm giving you extra juice

Mae How are your hiccups? Any new symptoms?
meh.. .lol i think i might feel a bit of nausea this morning but I dont know.

my most prevalent symptoms are I constantly hurt (like, from my body loosening up), every time I stand up I feel like Im pulling my round ligaments, and I have to pee... really have to pee... an hour after I just went pee.
