Hi,

I'm looking to reduce the amount of grains I eat, but I'm feeling sooo uninspired. Spam me some of your favorite grainless bfast, lunch or snack ideas, plz!

TIA

TONS of ideas in the threads linked here: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...7&postcount=70

Breakfast: I'm all about eggs, bacon, sausage, (green) smoothies, sometimes coconut flour pancakes, or even coconut flour crepes (recipe linked in the new Grain Free thread), fruit, yogurt (coconut milk yogurt for us...), coconut flour muffins (I typically use most of these as snacks and stick to eggs though )

Lunch: leftovers, salads w/ meat or nuts or eggs w/ evoo and vinegar

Snacks: smoothies, jerky, nuts/seeds, chocolate , veggies w/ a mayo based dill dip (), cookies made w/ nut/seed and coconut flours (check out elana's pantry for great almond flour recipes), fruit w/ nut butter, deviled eggs...etc.

Dinners: soups, stews, slab of meat, poultry or fish w/ a side of veggies and potatoes, tacos (use a lettuce wrap, or the grain free tortilla recipe recently posted in the grain free 2010 thread--it was great!), zucchini pasta w/ meatballs and sauce, chili, etc. etc. etc...

the kids favorite lunch is sandwich rollups- meat- w/ tomato - veggies on lettuce w/ mayo(preferrably homemade)

supper- stir fries!!! serve over veggie noodles(I love carrot) or grated and steamed cauliflower- YUM! roast chicken w/ roasted veggies and a salad.

beans are an option as well if you are just doing grain free there is yummy chili- white or regular, chicken chili, white bean and ham soup, honey baked lentils, lentil soup- curried lentils(of course curried meat as well).
