When I watch shows from my childhood (H.R. Puffenstuff, Lidsville, Electra-Woman and DynaGirl and ISIS!!!) with my kids, they feel sorry for me. They just do. not. get. it.

Rainbow Bright, My Little Pony (I just have DVD's of these), Scooby-Doo, Garfield, Smurfs! I wish Jem, Muppet Babies, Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs were on TV! Maybe they are, but I can't find them

Where did you find reruns of Isis? I loved that show!!

My daughter is currently obsessed with Land of the Lost reruns. She pretends to be Holly just like I used to do.

yesterday there was a Looney Tunes marathon on and we watched a few. DS laughed his arse off!!!! They just don't make the shows with the crazy violence like they used to- everything has to be to teach something. This was total entertainment!!!!

Oh man I'm old. I was expecting to see awesome shows listed like: Little House on the Prairie and Family Ties.

I can't wait to show them The Wonder Years. Loved that show.

Never much of a cartoon fan, though The Smurfs captured my attention in the early 80's.

DH bought the first season of Fraggle Rock for us for Christmas!!! Can't wait for DS to be old enough to watch it with me! We don't have a TV but DH and I watch a little bit now and then on the computer

waterproofmascara, my sister bought me a DVD of selected episodes of all the Sid & Marty Kroft shows. I was also trying to remember the "spell" Isis used when she needs the Zephyr winds to make her fly, so we looked it up on YouTube.

I'd like to show my kids ALF and Family Ties. They've seen Little House on the Prairie, we sat and watched it all day once.

Oh man, I loved Rainbow Brite and was OBSESSED with My Little Pony. All the new MLP toys they have out are crap though, darnit.

DS is in love with Little Bear. I remember watching it when I was home from school. It's kinda weird and fun to be watching shows from my childhood with him

What I really want a DVD set of is Lambchop's Play Along! Siiigh.

Moving to the Television forum.

I do this too. I especially like watching old Christmas cartoons with my children, mainly the peanuts gang/snoopy. I like TVLand because they have Andy Griffith, The Brady Bunch and others that I used to love to watch as a child. Although now they all seem so silly, they were much funnier when I was a child for some reason. My son used to love to watch Leave it to Beaver with DH and I back before I had my second child. We watched it religiously every day. So funny.

This is exactly my thought process. I can't beleive you feel the same way. I hate the preaching (?) of today's shows which my kids have never seen, BTW. I hear about some of the whining of the characters on here so I am grateful
We do however own The Flinstones, we regularly get looney tunes (awesome music also) from netflix regularly and the kids howl with laughter. they did not learn one letter or how to share from them but man do they laugh.
We also get chilly Willy
I am too old for Pokemon or Rainbow bright shows but I love those looney tunes and am going to look for wonder twins!
