Why do I have to negotiate with an irrational three year old to take a freakin' SHOWER?!

Heh, I remember those days. I used to just bring some toys and the kiddo in the bathroom and take a shower no matter what. Most of the time they played happily and occasionally took a bath after I was done. I quite literally get itchy and panicky (sensory issues) if I feel dirty, so it was something that I had to do.
