Gas getting worse at 7 months

I'm at my wits end. Dd is 7 months now and woke every 20 minutes last night due to gas.

Until she was 4 months she slep 6 hour stretches

At 4 months it just got worse and worse until now were at 20 minute stretches

I gave up all traces of dairy for a month when she was 2 months (she had the gas then but didn't wake from it). Didn't help. Gave up chocolate for a week. Didn't help

what can I do? I feel like something has to becreally wrong that she's so gassy at this age. She's crawling and very active

My DS (8 mths) is exactly the same except he usually sleeps 1 hr (sometimes 2). His gas is better if I avoid dairy, soy, gluten, corn, nuts, caffeine and anything processed. As well as the usual gas causers ... beans, cabbage, brocolli. A probiotic helps as well.

I was starting to get things under control before Christmas and we were working on the sleep (a la "no cry sleep solution"). He had a couple of 3 hr stretches. I have been eating some crap over the holidays though and now his gas is worse than ever.
