Hi, can I be added to Waiting to Test, Kel32brown.

We had an IUI on Saturday. We finally, finally overcame the high semen viscosity problem we've had in our first 2 Clomid/IUIs. The nurses kept telling us that after the washing, there was little sperm because they were swimming through sludge.

All it took was extra bottles of water for 3 days before he gave the sample. Whew.

Now we just need the sperm to find those two fat follicles we saw on ultrasound. I test on Feb. 8th if my cycle doesn't start. We got pregnant with our first IUI, had a miscarriage at 10 weeks, didn't get pregnant on our 2nd IUI, and here we are. Xing my fingers.

AFM: I just got a call back from the nurse and i had 3 follies that are at 10mm and my estrogen level went from 92 to 120 so they said that it's starting to look better but that we aren't there yet! They upped me to 125IUs a day of the Menopur to see if that will help me out and I go back friday morning at 745 to to another u/s and have more b/w! i think this might actually be my month! I'm really getting excited finally! I hope everyone else is doing well. I haven't heard from many of you most of the week! Have a great day! I have to start getting ready to head off to work!

Kel~We don't have a waiting to test section, but I can add it to your blurb. Would you like me to change anything in your blurb?
Brandy~I will PM you about being thread keeper! Thanks for volunteering even though you don't know what's involved, lol.

AFM: Still waiting to ovulate this month. Wondering if it will be an annovulatory month, even though I still have time and to my knowledge have never had a month w/out ovulation...we'll see. DH is getting crabby when it comes to BDing...not sure what's up. Hoping the maca arrives soon and puts him in a better mood!

Question: We see the Urologist who specializes in Male Infertility in late February. We'll be in month 6 of trying by then. What might we expect? Should I tell him about the herbals I'm having DH try? (Mostly vitamins, and the Maca)

Thank you! And i think you should let the Urologist know about the herbals! I hope that this Urologist can help you guys with everything. I know how frustrating it is to TTC month after month and keep coming up with BFN'S!!! I am totally on board to do the February thread! I will have everything ready to go by February 1st (knowing me i'll stay up all night the night before and end up starting it at like 3 am on the 1st!!!)

Okay ladies...i'm ready for tomorrow to get here already!!!! Why does it seem to drag when you have a GREAT not just a good feeling about your appointment that is coming up? I'm really ready to see at least 2 of those follicles grow at least to a 16 but a 20 or higher would be a LOT better! The doctor did say that if I don't make much more progress this cycle anytime soon he wants to wait until my next cycle to start trying again and then he's going to put me on an oral/injections combo! I've never done that so I'm a little nervous and really hoping that i'll just get a BFP in February and that will be that! LOL. Well, i just needed to come and talk for a minute! Things look like a tornado as ran through my house because my daughter and my twin brother's 3 kids were here night before last and my wonderful DH hasn't finshed cleaning things up yet! (i was not at home when they were here so i got to walk into a wonderful mess yesterday!) I hope everyone is having a good week! It's been kinda quiet the past couple of days with everyone! I hope that yall are doin ok!


And WELCOME Kel!!! It's always good to have new faces around here!

I'm just sitting at home watching the big snow fall, with cold toes despite my wooly socks. And I'm pondering some wonderful, fabulous baking or cooking. Although, honestly, I can't think of anything. Now usually, that would involve chocolate, but I'm just not in the mood for chocolate. :s that a sign?:: LOL.

MrsD, you can have the snow for your husband. LOL! It's so cold they cancelled the boy scouts Klondike Derby on Saturday for severe weather. It should be a high of 14* on Saturday and below zero windchillls, so hardly a day to play outside, no matter one's age and enthusiasm.

Okay, so i just got home from the doctor's office and I need to vent!!!! When the nurse did my u/s this morning nothing was going on STILL!!! I've been on the same medication (just different doses) since CD2 and i'm on CD23!! I'm really getting agrivated because it seems like the closer we feel like we are getting the less is happening!!!! We are waiting on my b/w to come back and then i'll know what dose i'll be on this next time and when i'll have to go back to the doctor! I spend an hour total in the car driving to and from the doctor each day that I have to go to the doctor and I've been having to go 2 times a week for the past 2 or 3 weeks! I'm really getting tired of the drive!!!! And to top it off i get to work all weekend long! YAY for me lol. This is just not a good day so far I just hope it gets better!


I hope everyone else's day is better than mine has been so far!!! (And i've only been up since 5:15 this morning)

Hang in there Brandy!!

AFM: Not sure what my last update was, but I think I left off with DH and I having to meet at a no-tell motel halfway between our house and my parents (where he is staying while he trains for a new job). Now I'm 8dpo and feeling crummy. I cannot stop crying (and I'm at work natch). I took a HPT this morning, way too early I know, and it was negative. No symptoms of anything (AF or pregnancy). One more cycle and then DH is on the road for MONTHS!! I wish that this feeling of wanting to have a child would just go away if it is not meant to be. Man am I a downer today or what???

Thank you ladies!!! I'm still trying to hang in there! I took me a little nap so i would make it through the night tonight with working 3 extra hours tonight and I feel a little bit better from when i went to sleep! I still am waiting on the nurse to call me back! I am just happy that they get their b/w back same day!!!!! It makes things a lot easier and I don't have to wait an extra couple of days to find out how my estrogen levels are doing!!! I hope that everyone has a great weekend and I promise February 2010 thread will be up and running on monday morning when everyone wakes up! I will be at work that night and i'll get it put together on my break at 3am (alabama time lol) Good evening ladies...i'm sure i'll have something else to post after while once the nurse calls me back!!!



ETA: MrsD08~ I think we need to start grounding our bodies for not acting right! HA being my luck it would push me back further though...it's a suggestion though ha

I suggested this a while back and it didn't quite catch on. I'm hoping it will catch on through February while Brandy is thread mistress.
But here goes a second chance...

Here goes.... I changed the order on mine a little to put the things that don't change (TTC #, Trying Since) at the top and things that do change at the bottom.

Plan for this Cycle: I start supression meds for IVF when my AF starts!

Thoughts: I've been on BCP since about a week before my hysteroscopy (so for about three weeks now) and I'm already going nuts. Examples: I alternated yesterday between being extremely clingy (really, a fairly Jr High version of "Pay Attention to ME") and being really critical of stupid little things that I mostly overlook (bitching about him leaving his shoes in the middle of the floor, about water on the counter, etc.). I combined this with things such as feeling the need to clean out my bathroom drawers and re-organize my side of the closet--starting at about 9:30pm. Why the slightly obsessive tendencies couldn't direct themselves towards cleaning that actually needs to get done, I don't know. OMG. I'm already crazy and I haven't even really started meds yet. My poor DH.

Okay, I've been a total MDC slacker lately and I'm so sorry!!! Figured that now that the weekend is here and I have a little more time I'd try and do the weekend update.
