super gassy pants after solids

So, we have just begun feeding our dd solids. We started with avocado, then banana and then sweet potato. She's just about to turn 7 months old. We are doing BLW and she has definitely managed to eat and swallow little pieces of everything. But now she is gassssssssy! I keep checking her diaper thinking she needs a change but it is just gas!

So, how common is it for babies to get really gassy after they start eating solids? Should I eliminate the food that is causing all the gas (which seems to be everything!)? If it is common how long does it last? Any ideas?

Gassy baby here too. We've done apples and bananas so far. A lady at church today was holding my baby and she handed him back to me after a few minutes and whispered, "I think he exploded his diaper." Disappointingly, because I like that outfit and I didn't want to scrub at church, I took him upstairs for a change only to find absolutely nothing in his diaper. He's been passing gas all day and whooie it's stinky.

Just throwing this out there...how about trying probiotics? My DS started those a few weeks ago for a gassy belly. Not only did they resolve the gassiness, they resolved his reflux. My DS is only 12 weeks old, not on solids like your LO, but it may be worth a try! Good luck!
