Count me in! Last night I had a dream about my husband going tanning all of the sudden instead of wanting to take care of the baby (TOTALLY not like him) and my family was there and I was in a wedding dress... the list goes on and on, very detailed dreams with me lately. Sorry if this is TMI but I've also been having LOTS of sexy dreams too! I don't mind all of this though, I have a great support system here ( my husband ) and he listens to every detail hahaSo you're definitely not alone, I am sure it is a common side effect of pregnancy

Yeah, I've been getting crazy dreams since I found out I was pregnant. That was my first "symptom", if you will. I was having REALLY weird ones in the first couple weeks of pregnancy. It's gotten a bit better now, I guess as the hormones are levelling off. But they're still more frequent and vivid than normal.

Crazy dreams will last the entire pregnancy. It's actually not really possible that you haven't dreamt at all in the last two years, unless you have a sleep disorder. Many, many people don't remember their dreams, but everyone who doesn't have a sleep disorder dreams every night. Edit: And if you had such a severe sleep disorder that you never had any dreams for two years, you'd know it. There would be other symptoms than just not remembering dreaming.
There are a couple reasons you remember the crazy dreams of pregnancy. The first is that you really do dream more or have more vivid dreams, due to changes in the sleep cycle that happen during pregnancy. The second is that you remember more of them because you wake up more often. We're more likely to remember dreams when we wake in the middle of them or right as they're ending, which happens more when you're pregnant due to having to pee 800 times a night and generally just being uncomfortable.
It's totally normal and lasts throughout the pregnancy for most people, so settle in. lol

Be glad your dreams are just crazy. I tend to have nightmares during pregnancy. They have nothing to do with the baby at all but they are disturbing none the less. It never fails though that I get them while pregnant. It makes it that much more difficult to sleep because once you awake from a bad dream it is harder to get back to sleep.

I admit I remember all my dreams pregnant or not, but definitely while pregnant I had those really intense dreams whose content are so bizarre that it takes so much time to process, and I wake up drenched in sweat! I've been having dreams like these since the first trimester and I'm 28 weeks now.
On a lighter note, I've also woken up having orgasms at least 20 times since becoming pregnant!! So some of those dreams aren't so bad....
