Looking for new baby carrier for 20 month old

DD recently turned 20 months. I love the Ergo but am wanting to try something else. Can anyone make a recommendation? I met a woman at Toys R Us carrying her 3 year old in a Maya Wrap. She was carrying the child and had on a back pack and looked comfy. She said she sometimes carries her 4 year old in it too.

I have lots of carriers, but my current fav for my 20m old DD is our Ergo. It is easy & fast to get her up & down. She likes to walk but gets tired fast. It is also really comfy & supports her weight well.

For quick trips into a store though (to just grab a few things) I like my ring sling. It is a zolo. I like it b/c it is fairly compact, easy on & off, & has a little pocket for my cell keys & small wallet. However it is not very comfy to wear for long periods of time & my DD is fairly petite (less than 20lbs).

There are so many great carriers out there that would be good for a 20 mo - you say you love the ergo but what to try something different - what don't you like about the ergo? anything? If you'd like another buckle carrier I'd check out toddler carriers like the Kanga XT, Anglepack, Calyx, or bamberoo. I love woven wraps and that would be great as well. For quick up and downs a ring sling or a MT is my favorite though.

In the summertime it can be very hot on me.DD seems fine and I dress her light but the previous summer I was so sweaty after a walk. I wanted to try another carrieror wrap to see if that would help.

I used my ring sling quite a bit this summer w/ DD. It is a natural undyed cotton one. The light color & not too thick fabric kept us pretty cool. Only problem is (as I said before) I found that it was not comfy to wear for extended periods of time.
