Labor Day! *UPDATE* Birth Story added :)

Ok, I *think* this is finally it! LOL! I had contrax overnight that kept waking me up and they started getting strong around 7am. I lost my mucous plug and had lots of bloody show around 11am. DP and I just got back from the mall for some much needed walking (way too cold and snowy and nasty here to walk outside) and contrax have picked up a lot. I'm not timing them yet but they are pretty regular and getting quite painful.

I'm hoping this is it!! I'll check in with more info when I have it.

Update!

Ciaran Phoenix arrived last night at 11:49pm. He is 9lbs 15oz and 22" long with a 15" head. He's a big boy!!! I just can't believe he is finally really here!

We had the most amazing, beautiful, wonderful, perfect homebirth! It was everything I had imagined and then some. I can't even say how blessed I am that we were able to birth at home! He nursed right way and has a good latch, now I'm just waiting on my milk to come in. He is content, though, and has slept most of the last 12 hours. My bleeding has remained totally under control, which is a relief.

I'll check in soon with a birth story and photos.

Ok, I linked to my birth story in the OP.

I don't want to copy and paste it here because it is ridiculously long. I was going to edit it down but decided to just post the whole thing. I have written long, detailed birth stories for each of my kids' baby boxes and this was no different. I was also still feeling pretty emotional when I wrote it, so it isn't just a factual account. In fact, I'm still feeling pretty emotional about his birth. In a good way for sure, but I'm still a little overwhelmed.
