When can I back carry safely?

I have a very sturdy little 15 pound 3 month old (well in four days she will be 3 months old). She has good neck control but I also want her to be able to securely lay on my back to sleep while she is in the carrier. Is three months old too young to tie her using the reinforced rucksack back carry? The way I tie it, the wrap rail is up under the nape of her neck so she has little arm mobility and her head is pulled in close to me.

At that age, the high back carry is probably better. Look at youtube for instructions .
