Ham bone soup?

I made a ham last night (from a pastured pig). I have some meat and a beautiful bone left. I'm thinking I should make soup but I've never done it this way. Anything I should know? Any particular spices that work well? We are on a primal diet so we don't do any grains or beans so this will just be ham meat and veggies.

I'd totally do a collard green/spinach/kale something soup with ham broth. Those foods just cry out for smoked pork flavor!
