swaddling blanket recs please

Does anyone have a blanket or sack (like a woombie) designed specifically for swaddling? I don't want to spend the money until I have some suggestions. TIA!

I have used the aden and anais, miracle blanket and the kiddopatumus swaddle blanket and liked them all. Aden and anais got the most use just because they're big and you can get them really snug. My ds didn't like having his feet swaddled after the first week or two so that was another reason we leaned towards the aden + anais, the other two both have a little pocket for the feet to go in. I would recommend finding them used and/or borrowing them from a friend since they are all a little pricey to get new and little babes can be very picky about their blankets/swaddling.

We really liked the A and A swaddling blankets, too, for the same reasons carhootel said.

We LOVED our Miracle Blanket (and DD did, too!). But that's the only brand we ever tried (beyond just swaddling with a regular blanket).

We got one Miracle Blanket in a bag of hand-me-downs, and soon ordered a second one so we wouldn't have a crisis when it needed to be washed.

The A and A blankets are great because they are so big, and stay swaddles, also the kiddopotamus are great, because they come in all sizes and the velcro stays done!

We didn't swaddle for long, but also preferred the A and A blankets to our Swaddle Me's.

DS loves the kiddopotamus swaddlers. Just make sure you have at least 2. If a diaper leaks in the middle of the night you'll want a back up.

We also love the A&A (the "real" ones, not the ones from Target which are smaller and not as nice).

we like the kiddopatumus swaddle for our 3 week old... the bamboo and fleece ones... I'd like to try the other one recommended here too

The Halo sleepsacks with the swaddle "attachment" (the wings that velcro to the back and wrap around) are probably our favorite: they're warm and we're wintering in a coooold climate, they're easy to get a snug swaddle with and tough to wiggle out of, and they unzip from the bottom up, so you can change a diaper without undoing everything. The Kiddopotamus swaddlers are good, too, but our little guy has wiggled out of the foot pocket a few times- may not be an issue for others who are less determined squirmers.

Any blanket big enough and with enough give to the fabric works just fine, too. But the Halo and the Kiddopotamus-style products are easier in the middle of the night, in my sleep-deprived opinion.
