1000 Minutes in JANUARY! Everyone Join the fun!!!!

I haven't seen a thread for this month, so I am starting one!

I actually made my goal last month, although I cheated a bit and set my goal at an achievable 900 minutes. This month's goals:

1100 minutes of active, break-a-sweat exercise and lose the 7 pounds that somehow latched themselves onto my hips when I was not looking!

1/1 - Happy New Year!
1/2 - 60 mins downhill skiing (I was on the slopes for a few hours, but am counting only the real exercise)
1/4 - 15 mins walking, 53 mins running, 15 mins weights & stretching

total: 143/1100

I just join a gym. I am in for 1000 min.

1/5-60 min at the gym --- 1/11 85 min
1/6-45 min ---- 1/12 85 min
1/7-110 min ----- 1/13 85 min
1/8- 75 min ----- 1/14 90 min

1/3 - 52 min run, 8 min walk, 25 min 30 Day Shred and core
1/4 - 10 min elliptical, 30 min PT exercises, 20 min Shred, 5 min core

Seems like a pretty lame start except when measured against the fact that I almost did nothing because I couldn't get to the gym - and my sudden energy means I will clean the house rather than vegging on the couch. I think I found a quickie workout I can supplement with at home.

My goal is 1,200 again b/c I barely made it last time. But I'd like to increase my cals burned (i.e., intensity) to 8,750. That's 2 1/2 pounds and avgs between 7 & 8/min.

I’m in! I’ve been totally lazy for the last few months and I need to get me arse in gear! Went to the gym for the first time tonight. Loved it! So here’s hoping that I meet my goal and maybe some extra

15 minutes free weights
10 minutes on Elliptical
30 minutes on treadmill

Jan. 4: 1h Body Pump in the gym (and today I feel a little sore in my hamstring area! )
Jan. 5: 1 1/2h walk back home to enjoy the nice, clear weather
