Baby Positioning at 27 weeks

Thread Starter
Just had an appointment with midwife. I am 27 weeks and the baby is, of course, transverse, head up and face up. Should I be worried at this stage? My last was head down but posterior and I had a Csec for occult cord prolapse.

How can you tell this at 27 weeks? I am wondering because that is where I am, and I don't think I can feel a butt or head or anything yet. I feel most kicks lower down, but otherwise, I still don't know how to tell where baby is.....

I would not be worried but I would try and do some exercises, chiro, etc. to try and get it into a good position.

I think we aren't supposed to worry until about 36 weeks. Of course, that hasn't stopped me. My baby is still transverse at 29 weeks now.

BClare, I can feel the baby push its whole body up against the top of my uterus, so I can tell where its head starts and where its butt stops.
