I'm just curious how much people are spending to get raw milk. And if you buy raw milk cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. how much is that? In Santa Monica I can get Organic Pastures raw milk, but the cheapest it's available here is at the Farmer's Market for $14 a gallon. It's $20 a gallon at Whole Foods! Needless to say, I buy it at the Farmer's Market. I sometimes buy Straus non-homogenized milk instead for $9 a gallon.

I never actually realized just how expensive it is. We don't drink much milk though so it's not really an issue, I just buy a liter here and there. In cooking I use organic unhomogenized since it's going to be heated anyway and it's a third of the price.
since selling raw milk as food is illegal here. Like everyone buying that milk is bathing in it like some kind of medieval princess!
