I was looking in to writting a little for ehow and their page explaining how you make money is really vauge. It says something like, 'the more usefull things you write, the more you get paid.' But won't say that you get paid based on site views, or ad clicks or what. So they can just pay you whatever they feel like (or not) and you have no way to say if it's fair? That seems scetchy to me. Does anyone work for them and know how it really works?

Does anyone know how ehow pays?

eHow keeps their earnings formula a 'secret' which is annoying and erodes trust. However they do pay. They are probably the best paying website for revenue sharing. I've made $35 the first three days of Jan so far, on stuff I wrote months ago. I've worked with them for 8 months and they have paid me for every month I've had earnings.
It is worth your time but also be sure to diversify into other online ventures/revenue sites. Nothing lasts forever and eHow is growing and considering stock options which will either be a very good thing or the company will stumble.
Also, be sure you understand their submission guidelines and avoid click fraud. Read, read, read so you avoid pitfalls that have sunk others.
