I remember that! At one point my server, Proudmoore, was in the lead in the war effort. Then our server went down for a day and a half, and I think we ended up 5th or something and we never caught back up. So then when the instance finally opened with all those opening events, I took my druid down to see it...and Kalimdor started having major issues and it was impossible to catch a boat or take a flight. I was in Theramore at that point, so I swam in sea lion form all the way down to Steamwheedle and then rode across the Tanaris desert, through Un'Goro and into Silithus. I got there just in time to see some giant Anubis things, and then the server crashed completely.

When they opened it on Nordrassil, it was barely open before Blizzard just automatically finished the war effort for us. I guess you had a certain amount of time to collect stuff and then they just went ahead and called it complete. Which was sad because I was looking forward to having a long time to gather things for rep and items...it ticked me off that they made it go so quickly.

Didn't they change it so that new servers now have AQ open? I can't remember if they changed it after BC or Wrath expansions came out?

ok so patch 3.3.2 coming with the fall of the lich king cinematic. What I can't figure out is how are we getting all the way to the end of the lich king and still no Cataclysm release date?

My tauren druid is almost level 80. I keep postponing her leveling. She was 9% from leveling for the past several days. Then last night I did one quick 15 minute dungeon, and she's only 3% from hitting level 80. Our guild on Illidan disbanded after the owners marriage disbanded. A long time member created a back up guild and we're still trying to get everyone caught up and into the new guild. Then another member created a guild as well for those with level 80 toons to use as the official raiding, as opposed to leveling, guild. Part of me doesn't want my druid to hit 80 without everyone noticing, I know, it's so vain.

My troll Shaman is level 69 and I want to not play it anymore in Northrend until my druid is 80 to buy her the tome of cold weather flying to make the questing so much easier for my shaman.

My orc Hunter has been getting a lot of attention lately and is now level 50. I started that Azshara hunter quest, but it feels kind of pointless, since all you get is a silly trinket. I always feels lost around level 50 as to where I should quest and I'm really tempted to just run dungeons and BG's to get her leveled. Although I play on a pvp server, I don't pvp much and rarely do bg's, so when I do, it's quite the rush.

A friend of mine told me she downloaded today's patch this morning (my morning, cause she's 4 hour later than I) through the launcher downloader and now has malware on her computer. That makes me afraid to launch the game today. Has anyone else had any issues with this patch?
