BPA-free sealants?

Anyone know which brands of BPA-free dental sealants are out there? Do they exist? Our pedi dentist is recommending them for my DS.

I asked the dentist's office about the kind they use, and they told me "BPA isn't listed on the package, so they don't have BPA in them". Ugggghh.

Any thoughts or info on this? I had sealants throughout my childhood (and actually still have them), but now am conflicted as DS gets older & I have less control over what he eats all the time. Definitely don't want BPA in his mouth though.

Anyone know of sealant brands that are BPA-free? Would you have sealants put on your kids teeth if they are BPA-free? Alternatives (if they are already brushing/flossing, but not always eating a stellar diet - pickiness has set in)?

How do you make the most of your mainsteam pedi dentist?

I would like some info on this, too! My dd's ped dentist told us he would be recommending them in the future - that is as far as the conversation went at the end of the appointment.

Well, I got the brand name from the dentist (UltraSeal XT Plus from Ultradent) and they do indeed look like they are BPA-free:

We are looking at sealants as well, as our dentist just recommended them for my 7 year old.

According to the following, there is no such thing as a BPA free sealant--

Also, some sealants release fluoride. Anyone heard of this?

This is the composition of the sealants that our dentist uses--at first glance I am not impressed!
