Time for toddler bed?

So my DD has started hopping out of her crib when she no longer feels like sleeping. Her crib converts to a toddler bed, should I change it now? I have no idea what to do.

I'm waiting for NCSS for toddlers to come in from the library ... but it's got quite a hold list.

My babe was never in a crib, but if she had been I would have taken her out of it and into either a matress on the floor or a toddler bed. My dd went into a toddler bed at 18 months and was fine, never fell out.

My niece was in a crib, still is at age 3, but when she started climbing out, they turned her crib because one side was much taller than the other. Now the shorter side is up against the wall, and all the other sides are too tall for her to climb out.

Bedtime routine here starts around 7:30 with a bath and she's normally sleeping by 8:30pm. Wakes up at 7-7:30 am.

DBS started climbing out of the crib about 2-3 months ago. We bought a crib tent on my sisters recommendation. Love it, love it, love it!
