I swear my kids only get sick when there's something I can not miss like a test at school that needing to make up would be a very bad idea (make ups are 50% harder, last time I didn't even recognize most of the words!)
Really, they really only do get sick when I can't miss something. This time its a doozy, sent older dd to my moms house last night since were flying out to the hospital on the other side of the state this morning (delayed due to fog so I'm killing time) and I get a call this morning telling me dd threw up 8 times last night with the last 2 being yellow bile and the last one was a mix of blood and mucus. She should have called me no later then the 3rd time so I could get over there and get meds into her since were pretty sure its an allergic reaction and not the stomach flu. (praying its not, its gonna suck if it is and the baby and I get it while on the plane or at the hospital)
So anyway, why why why, is it they only get sick when I can't miss something?! We've been waiting for this appt since June!

If one of my babies was throwing up blood and mucus the last thing on my mind would be what I can't miss. Even if the throwing up is something that has happened in the past, it would still bother me.

I'm starting a new job, tomorrow is a planning session for the grant I need apply for to get the money to actually fund my new job, it is the first time I have to go into the office on official business. I'm on pins and needles because I just know someone is going to start vomiting any minute, then I'm going to have to cancel, they might rethink me for the position, and then I'm jobless. That is just the way it works in my house. Listen up children of mine, don't start the puking until 11:30am tomorrow and then I'm good!
